Anyone know where I could pick up a heavy bag in Ireland?

Only finding foreign sources online which makes shipping a bit of a bitch..

Are you talking sandbag or punchbag?

How is shipping a bitch, it's only an empty canvas back at the end of the day which you stuff yourself with newspaper or sand.

Well no, because they sell them filled..and it wouldn't be much of a heavy bag if it was filled with newspaper would it..

We got a good one from Mick Dowling a few years back.

Can't remember the price but it came with gloves too. I'd say it was around the 100 mark anyway.

This is his website http://www.mickdowlingsportsworld.ie/ maybe you could email them or ring them and see what the story is.

You'd be surprised, the heavy bag in my gym is filled with newspaper and it would break your hand if you hit it incorrectly. Compressed newspaper is often used to fill bags.
