I usually just listen to what's on the gym's sound system, just don't feel comfortable with headphones on as I tend to keep pulling them out.

I hate listening to the music on the system in gym as they being playing the same music for the last 3 years I have been there sweet jesus.

I listen to anything that gets me in the mood either rock or dance. Just depends.

Just thought I'd bring this thread back up... I'm in need of some new workout music - any suggestions?

My original list from one of those other threads:

    Sigur Ros,
    Radiohead,
    Muse,
    The Prodigy,
    Eluvium.

That kind of stuff. I make a lot of hour+ electro songs when I'm bored which are sometimes tailor made for my workouts. It's fun trying to keep up with the music or noticing when you get ahead of it.

Rage Against The Machine: Battle of Los Angeles FTW!

I don't care much for their political views but that album has seen me through many p.b.'s in the last few weeks

    [QUOTEMAW - WORK[/QUOTE]

Ugh... To each his own and all...... But that would personally make me drop the bar on my head knock myself out so I wouldn't have to listen to it:p

I'm doing the Couch to 5k routine at the moment and if you have and ipod the podrunner podcast is fantastic. Its mixed in unison with your training week by week and a little buzzer sounds when you have to slow down/speed up.

I tend to listen to Metallica, Guns N Roses etc when in the gym, but one I've found brilliant lately is Daft Punk's "Alive" album. Great beat throughout and its fun to work out to.
