Why Quake Live? Why Do You Taunt Me...

    Quake Live - how excited I was waaaay back when when I first saw it...When I first applied for Beta - and was then accepted! But now, heartache. Just never-ending problems (besides the fact that I'm terrible!).

    First of there was the "no or bad connection"

    Then, Punkbuster decided to keep kicking me out...

    In parallel to that, I had no sound in game (how handy for games!)

    And now...I decided to give QL another chance (mainly because my XBox room was occupied). My keyboard decides not to work - won't register keys in-game. When I try to rebind, it doesn't - or think I'm pressing different buttons. Did get a practice game in against a bot but had to play with Arrows and CTRL for jump (and mouse wheel for weapon change) - not good.

    C'mon Quake Arena Arcade (XBox) - need a fix and the PC version (somehow) isn't doing the job.....

    To make things worse...For some reason, went back to play again last night after that little rant - keys worked! Tried to join a FFA game (I am rusty afterall) - black screen with yellow lines...

    :(
