Hi, I seen that lad on Ireland am the other morning that's on that soccer talent show on sky 1 for an Inter Milan scholarshp. Something that I was curious about was he said they could eat what they like for breakfast except dairy products, so no milk in their cereal or no eggs etc. What was the reason for this?

    Cheers,

    D

I would put it down to an oddball coach with strange ideas. I saw the interview too, had some strange statements, along the lines of "we are not allowed eat any sweets or soft drinks, but are allowed gatorade" and some other conflicting stuff they were allowed to eat while not allowed eat other things which were similar.

Wiki says many (possibly 75%) of humans are lactose intolerant to some degree. possibly coach doen't like farting or belching. Whats more likely is coach got sick of watching a load of players spitting up phlegm all over the gaff.
