The other day I was talking to some of my British mates on MSN. It was a group conversation and loads of people were teasing two girls for something that happened at a concert.
The story was that at the signing after the concert one of the members asked the two of them if they would like to join them in the tour bus. Apparently he seemed 'entirely innocent' in his intentions (yeah right). After an intense debate and much consulting with the others they declined. And now of course everyone is reminding them that they almost had a chance to have some fun with their favourite band.
So how would the people here react to that sort of invitation? I think it's unbelievably tempting to jump at the chance of getting close to your favourite celebs. But ultimately there are consequences that can arise from such things which I'm sure would make me turn them down.

I'd be scared of STIs and pregnancy. And not being able to contact them if either of those situations arose
On the other hand I'd feel like a goddess if I gave birth to my favourite rocker's baby xD

To me it would depend completely on the type of reputation the band had. Some of my favourite musicians are Irish ones, and I have friends who have headed back to the bands flat, or some band members have headed back to a friends flat and the most scandalous thing to happen is a sing song!

I think that the request can be made completely innocently, and then at times not, and in a way I guess the age old don't go with strangers thing holds true. I think that if it was a large band that was very much on tour and such, then I'd probably say no, if it's a small band I'd probably suggest going for a drink rather than accepting the invitation back to their place.

If I was attracted to them, I would.
And most certainly use a condom.

It's just a one night stand, just cause they're famous wouldn't deter or make me inclined just because.

A girl I know slept with a rather famous (married as well) singer after he played a show, not naming names or evern hinting at who it was for obvious reasons, she knew well what she was doing, but she did say she felt a bit cheap afterwards, which tbh I have no sympthy for her in regards to, if you know you're just going to be another notch on the tourbus bedpost then fine, but if you're thinking its got any sort of meaning or that its not just because they can have you as they're famous, and if it wasnt you itd be one of a dozen other willing girls ten you have some issues

If it was a slime ball like Tiger Woods or Ashley Cole I'd revel in saying no. I heard that they just get one of their "people" to approach random stereotypey hot women and say "X wants to take you home" And women are supposed to fawn over this and be honoured! Yea right! Swivel on it bitches.

I did meet my fave rocker and sex god Phil Anselmo, after a show. I DEFINITELY would have said yes. But his girlf was there. And my boyf was there. Also he didn't actually ask me.. :D

Its actually rarer than you think , people who are celebs are very selective about who they are with because of media attention and implications (alledged stuff that may end up in court ) and the papers.I was talking to one well known rapper in an airport that does not allow any of his entourage sleep around because of the complicatons it may cause and it seems to be the norm now.And I would tend to believe it because you hardly ever hear of celebs in the papers for this anymore except one individual.

Even in the swinging 60's rock stars didn't really sleep around a lot , and if they did the girls would have been well known to the groups and they would tend to stay within these girls and their friends.

The 80's was the decade of decadence TBH, Motley Crue didn't give a fook who they fooked, but their music generally sucked.

Rock stars now don't rock at all TBH.

If I were female, god knows I would definitely be a groupie for some second rate band, I <3 Music after all. But as a male, I can't say I would.

A friend (male) was sitting outside Whelans/The Village having a smoke one night after watching the Kooks play a couple of years ago. Their tour bus was parked outside... Next thing he sees is some girl getting hurled out the door of the tourbus trying to cover her herself up and preserve her modesty... She got fecked out the door with her top off and trying to get her bra back on. Funniest thing he had ever seen in his life :D

She then started banging on the door to get her top back... lol :) Sounded like a certain Kook had his fun and chucked her out straight after...

I have been in that situation, but I was asked to go for drinks as opposed to going on the tour bus, and I said yes. It wasn't anything seedy or untoward and we had a really nice time with the guys.

Depends who he was but most probably yes :D

If I liked a guy, regardless of whether or not he was famous, and he asked me to go anywhere with him, honourable or not, I'd go. Why not?! Life's too short to not do the things you want and tbh, if you take a few basic precautions you're not gonna get pregnant, if that's what you're worried about.

I think you'll find a good few of the posters here won't find a guy treating a girl like crap and slinging her out on the street in her underwear after sex to be that funny, this being the Ladies Lounge and all.

Well it was merely an example of the pitfalls of the original poster's question.... This could potentially happen in the situation that was described...

That doesn't make it funny though.

Quite disgusting and dishonorable. Not exactly the behaviour of a
    gentleman.

Nothing wrong with my sense of humour mate. I generally don't find people using and abusing others comical. Leaving a half naked woman in the street after you've had your bit of fun really isnt that amusing. Its pretty disgusting really. If you find that funny, well...I'll say no more as I'd rather not get banned for personal abuse.

yeah, depending on the band/person etc, but hypothetically, if i was single, yeah. probably would.

though i have warned my partner that on the offchance guy garvey ever walks into a pub and sings this song to me, i will have no option but to go home with him for the night :pac:
