I think VB has pulled a masterstroke if Mammy O'Rourke has set the standard for guest presenters. It's almost as good as Joe Duffy with Damo as holiday cover. VB job and salary should be safe when he comesback.

If this were RTE I'd be complaining about taxpayers money/nepotoism etc however she seems to have infiltrated the private broadcasters as well. Surely we have more suitable people out there for this role.

I only saw her riveting announcement before the programme started, and that was enough for me, so I watched something else. She'd be a good cure for insomnia.

I think she is afraid to look into the camera, remember what happened her brother. Otherwise (and bar her total bias) she wasn't all that bad at least on the bit I saw which was about 5 mins over the week ~I lasted a minute at least.

delighted i dont have to stay up until 12 for the summer. used to watch it every night in case i missed something, will not watch it until Sept think Mary O Rourke is appalling as a presenter, the worst i have ever seen, couldnt believe the content of Monday night it was a disgrace.
