I think Lucey's point about Cowan and the "cheapest bailout ever" is moot at this stage.. This is the same man (Lenihan) who told us that the state would make money out of saving Anglo.... He has absolutely no credibility at this stage.

We're fuked... Economist reckon that we need to borrow over 300 billion, at a rate of 6.5% or more.. i.e. 16 Billion interest every year... (i.e. when we already have an Exchequer deficit of 19 Billion)... Sommerville says that it's NOT possible and the people negotiating on behalf of Ireland Inc. need to start playing hardball with EMU/ECB/IMF...
