- Biggest Disappointment of the Year on any machine or console!
- Was there a game you were really looking forward to, but didn't meet your expectations? Did any console release list disappoint? Was a game you were looking forward to delayed or cancelled? *cough* DNF *cough*
- Wii/NDS/360/PS3/PSP/PS2/PC/iPod.
- No more than 3 Nominations per person, please.
- Please specify the game(s) and the console(s) they are on.
- Game must have been released on or after January 1st 2009 (search for the game on www.gamefaqs.com and look at the data tab for a release date).
- Nominations of Games for all regions are applicable, except Wii games and some 360 games (PAL Only). Use one of the following sites to check if its region free. url=http://www.play-asia.com]Play Asia[/url | Video Games Plus].
- Top 6-8 will go forward for the Vote (exact number dependant on number of nominations received).
- Vote will take place soon.

The absolute disgrace that is the PS3 version of Fallout 3 GOTY. It is unplayable to me, has been unpatched and the company should be brought up over it.

Ditto on the lack of Xbox 360 exclusives, I bought a 360 this year looking forward to quite a few exclusives only to have them pushed back, and pushed back again. Thanks be for XBLA!

Sony and their handling of the PSN regions. They need to have one QA department to minimise the wait between regions for digitally distributed content. Sick of waiting for games to come out here.

The mess of an online service that is psn, sorry ps3 heads, but you get what you pay for, and in my case sometimes not with sony's messed up online service letting me download demos, pay for the full version, and then not letting me download the activation key.

Duke Nukem: Forever - We kind of all had that sinking feeling that it would never be released, but the perpetual state of limbo it existed in kept the dream alive. To have it finally get canned after so many years of waiting was a huge disappointment. Surprised nobodies mentioned it yet

Biggest relief maybe, rather than disappointment :P

MW2 the game where 100 year old shotguns and sharpened metal are the weapons of choice in the modern warzone. And the state of youtube filled with videos about the bloody game.

OPF2, they promised us so much, they told us there was a vast 16km landscape to roam, but not much point in roaming if nothing happens. Graphics were shíte and the AI were just pants on head stupid. Big, big fail, this years FarCry2. all hype, no game

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising was the worst game I bought last year. It was so completely average that I couldn't be bothered to play it for more than a few missions.

Scribblenauts (NDS) - brilliant engine, but level design did nothing to encourage thinking. Every level could be cleared with balloon/soldier/jetpack. Only bothered playing about 25% of the game

killzone 2 (PS3) - found it very average

Borderlands (XBOX/PS3/PC) - Admittedly only played single player, but found it 5% skill, 95% being at the right level.
