Was just looking through facebook there and noticed that I have mostly female friends. Last few times I've been out been in the company of mostly ladies. So as usual I wanna find out if I'm just odd or if it's normal enough by asking you good men of the forum.

    Are your friends... 111 votes

My three closest mates are all males, but it's about 70:30 females to males after that.

In my first college course, it was 28 ladies, to two lads, my second course, the whole college was 70:30, and my last two full time jobs, I was the only man working there.

I'm pretty sure my friends is even enough. Possibly slightly more females in fact. I don't really think any split is odd tbh. Well unless its like 90->100% of either sex. I think its based more on similar personalities so you can have better more ineresting conversations and ejoy their company more too.

The friends I see most would be mostly male. They all live locally i'd see them a couple of times a week. But overall most of my really close friends are female but they don't live as close and are getting on woth their lives, living with partners etc... One's even married  (we're only 24/25).

But over all i'd say it's 50/50 give to take a vag or two.

All my best mates are male. One is married, one is engaged (wife-to-be moving in shortly), and the other is single. All around the 26-28 age range.

My life is a sausage factory. I work with nothing but dudes. The only sport I play is 5-a-side...with all dudes. My only major hobby is playing poker.....which always seems to be all dudes. My local is a man's pub and any time I go to town it's for a session with the lads.

I forget what a wimmens looks like.....

All guys, not really friends with girls unless it happens to be a mates girlfriend that I get on well with.

    Mostly wimminz.
Well, 'mostly' is perhaps a bit strong but there are definatly more wimminz then men.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I'd probably have equal friends, but I would talk to more of the guys regularly than the girls.

Mostly male, I'm going to say.

My two best friends are female, but other than that, I'd say most of my good friends are male.

Honestly, I find men much more trustworthy than women. Women tend to be bitchier and more gossipy.
Of course, that's not scientific research, that's just from my own experience.

My best friend is a girl. I call her my best friend 'cause even if we drift apart a bit sometimes, when we hang out again, it's like we've never been away from each other. She's an amazing person, has always been there for me and I trust her with my life. :)

Other than that, most of my good friends are male. Tbh, I find women are too "secretely competitive" amongst each other. Men are also a lot more easy going, in my experience anyway.

    Ya mostly women.

Hmmm, I'd say about 60:40 to the guys. And I'm a guy. But I'm only counting my close friends. If I was to expand it a bit it probably would even out.

My circle of friends is a bit like a Fianna Fail cumann meeting.

    An all male affair!

My best friends in the sense of those who I have known since childhood are all male. Funnily enough though, all the good friends I've made over the past two years or so are basically all female. I'd still say it is 75% in favour of male though.

My group of friends is a mix of men and women - but I'd say I get on better with guys than girls. I have more close male friends than female, and being totally honest, I prefer hanging out with men!

I have a lot of mates, but it's all mostly blokes. Have one really close friend who's female (we're just mates, but everyone thinks we're going out cos we spend so much time together) but most of my mates that I'd hang out with, go to the pub with, talk to, play poker with etc. are all male.

About 80/20 in favour of male for me.

Although I do have three very close female friends and few others who I often have few things in common with and hang out together when can.

    50/50 split (im male)
I'm male, most of my mates are female but my closest few are male. I just find girls are generally kinder and make better friends.

When I was younger had mostly female friends but they make up a tiny percentage now. Close friends I would say I have 11 male . And 3 female, one of them's an ex-girlfriend too :(. Not so close friends probably male dominated too unfortunately. Need to stop being such a mysogynist!

My 3 closest's m8's are males. Then after that 90% are female. I'm male btw.

I'm male and any friends I've ever had were almost all male. There was the odd female but they were more like acquaintances more than anything.

Of course I don't have many friends. I generally find I have very little to talk about with a lot of women I've spoken to which is more to do with my narrow range on interests and the fact that I don't speak to many people in a social context.

50/50... I have a couple of close girl friends and a few close guy friends and then the rest are more guys.
All girls all the time just causes hassle! plus the banter with a mixed group is the best!

In my most frequent group of friends they are mostly male. In other groups, females. I generally get on better with males, and females with the same warped sense of humour as me :pac:
There are types of males and types of females I don't get on with well, genarally football and car variety males and females fixated on their and their friends male relationships. That is not to say my friends don't talk about either, but it doesn't consume everyday conversation.

I tend to find what sort of music a person listens to determines whether I will get on well with them or not ;)
But I try not to be narrow minded and fitting people around the stereotype I have of them. Sometimes I do though.

I don't have any 'best friends' as such, just me fella.
