    Sort downloads by hits, lots there that we had a great time with before but the Ace2 ones are slowly appearing now

    That mission is worth a try, I'll sort it tomorrow

    These look good and require Ace (I'm loving this mod and don't wish to play vanilla for now)

    Yeah I'd definitely like something different with one fire team, rather than everyone doing their own thing. Domination is great but I think I'm a little tired of it for now. The best games we had were the ones where we all stuck together as one unit.

    In the mean time I've got the 1.30 versions of both Domi Ace AI and Domi Ace Revive and set the revive to default, version we been playing was 1.27

    Should be using the buddy system at least (with people that are on mumble). Lot less lying around waiting to respawn that way. It'd be cool to move as a single unit though. Fooking devastating too with the rate some of you guys take down targets.

    We initially got the server for small coop games, but be warned 99% of them dont have respawn you die and thats it Crow City for you.

    So you have to work as a team medic can heal you but not revive you.

    Pain in the ass if you die 1st :)

    Gonna organise getting those maps, missions and mods on the server now. Its empty atm but server may go down

    I'm glad there's been a big interest in the server lately, although we had the odd asshole to kick, we had some very good team players and amazing pilots also, I'm gonna announce through console to check boards.ie for info on team missions, maybe password the server for these custom team missions and post the password here. Domination is good for leaving on the server to tick over, even start a game until everyones online and ready to start, but You don't be long getting tired of it.

    I'd be happy to try any co-op mission that's suggested, I think we should just pick one soon and set a day and time and go for it. For me the satisfaction is in teamwork. On Domination the other night I remember 2 or 3 of us laying down fire while Max and Cheese I think it was slowly moved down a road on the left towards the village. It wasn't co-ordinated purposely (there were loads of randomers on too) but it just worked out that way. It was very cool.


    Will we try the Afgan patrol one?

    Also, if we could Fraps it it would be sweet.

    The caa1 mod to play Afghan Village is 2GB, You need to use Yoma to download it, its in default servers in the latest versions, just right click the Caa1- all worlds and add it to favourites and use Yoma the same as before with Ace

    Everyone needs this mod before we can play, just seen the server download it in less than 2 mins :D

    its seperate on the kellys heroes community repository link i think only 200mb

    You need the caa1 mod also, this is 2gb

    Some of the other mods You may already have if You added the other Kellys Hero's link to Yoma, if You didn't, get it

    Use the launcher, its easier. I'm forced to use the shortcut on the server which is a bit of a pain tho

    Along with these You still need the FFAA terrorists for Afghan Patrol and the Molatian Army for Operation Badboy

    We'd prob be best organise this for Thur to give everyone a chance to get sorted. I've not got it downloaded. Defragging server at moment, will be back up in 15mins

    Ok so I'm downloading a ton of stuff.

    Re: CAA1 - there's loads of different servers on the default list - autumn tree, objects only etc. I'm downloading the allworlds one. Is that everything I need or is there more? Do I need the OAC on as well? What is that? On the download page on Armaholic, the YOMA screenies of the download instructions have OAC checked as well as CAA1.

    So I'm downloading caa1allworlds - it shows up on the download addons as "x" rather than "caa1". Is that right? when launching I'd just specify @x and not rename it to CAA1 and use the line "@caa1"

    Kju, the guy who did this said the reason to have it in a folder called x was to distinguish it from the other mods, its not really a mod, just add it to the parameters section of the launcher.
    -mod=x\caa1;x\oac\oac_core
    

    I'm downloading the all worlds one as well, its 2GB, I think its the full pack of all maps, vehicles etc, the one we used before. Oac core is included

    Nice one thanks.

    I see the allworlds CAA1 includes OAC. Will CAA1 and OAC appear as seperate mods in the Launcher of will it appear as "X". If it's X and I select it, will it run all mods contained in that folder?

    Forget bout launching it with an added parameter, it gets detected by the launcher, easier to just tick the boxes :D I only realise it showed up when mine finished

    I broke everything this evening redownloading everything again :D

    pog do you have alink to domination 1.30?

    I was editing 1.29 to have 2 fire teams with 2 pilots 2 artillery and 2 engineers, basicially make it 18 players so the server can handle it and we get pilots who dont blackout.

    tip editing **** can break your game and all addons.




    may be done in the new one tho :o

    Domi 1.30 has pilots, its on the server, Max logged in and played for a few mins, I couldn't join cos Eircom broke the fcukin exchange again, 250-1000ms pings all eve, aaaaah

    yeah 1.30 looks good.

    No toys other than transport helos.

    Little airport towing vehicles allow you to move planes if they get stuck.

    Arming trailers for planes and helos, allow you to specify weapon loadouts. Didn't get to try it out (no planes at the start) but I'm wondering how many Mavericks I can stick on an A10. Probably can fill a cobra with rockets too for fun.

    Pilot class!! didn't get a chance to see if they suffer from blackout.

    a ton of mortars behind the flag building, I imagine with the arty interface running. You could load them onto a truck and accurately mortar the **** out of a town. If you have an ammo truck beside you, I'm thinking you could do it indefinitely.

    Also noticed that little birds can carry weapon crates, albeit smaller ones. Also you can now teleport from a little bird to a MHQ.

    All in all looks like it will be the best domi so far and a great default mission. Didn't play it all that long, just did a convoy killing side mission with Gonzo. Had a crazy but fun moment where I had to hit the deck almost in a little bird to avoid fire from something nasty and tunguska like, weaving left and right with tracers flying to my left and right. Ducked in between trees to get behind a behind a hill to safety at about 3m altitude. One of those cool Arma moments.

    Still looking forward to some proper teamplay on Thursday.

    Wow, just chattin to Max on Steam, loads of new shít on 1.30, I'm just gonna be lazy and copy the chat

    Little birds can now carry ammo boxes, but theres not as much stuff in their ones.
    There's tugs now, little airport cars that can move stuff around, so if a plane gets stuck etc.
    There's re-arming trailers.
    Just behind the flag building are about 15 mortars, can load them onto a truck, He thinks they have the arty interface.
    He thinks You can specify loadouts for choppers.
    There may be more

    That'll keep us entertained :D

    Yeah, sorry - I didn't mean that specific one, just something along the same lines.

    Previously I was using Six Updater which I had gotten the hang of (well enough to keeping ACE2 updated anyway)

    I switched to Yoma tonight to install the required addons only to have my soul crushed by yet more nonsensical, ambiguous and mishmashed interfaces.

    Anyway, I've got Yoma figured out now but OPX is a bit of a hefty download at this stage of the night.

    Maybe next time.
