Well as long as you get your ski trip Rb, thats the main thing...

He never said he was going on the skii trip and logisticaly if you look at the trip its 120 people who paid in the region of 800 euro + other expenses like clothes which brings it to say 1000 to round it off, thats 120,000 euro spent on the trip now Im sure you can see why things might be organised around that especially when it is cleared with DIT in September for them to go on those dates as it would not interfere with exams and look at all the part time students who work during the week if you put it on during the week it would affect them, very few final year students are working on Saterdays i would say (however I am a final year student who does work) and its really final year students and 2nd year students that would be affected by doing it in August since 2nd years are looking at going away. So yes there are going to be some people upset about the days it was going to be on but it was suggested right form the start it would be on a saterday and people should have been prepared the lesser of two evils is to have it on the saterday.

My exam was put off until the 1st of February to accommodate the ski trippers in my class. Fairest outcome imo so I'm happy:)

If he's not prepared for a later date, he was not prepared for the earlier date and it makes no difference.
He had 3 days left to prepare for the first exam before he stopped studying for it. If they announce it for Saturday he has Friday evening to prepare and thats it.

Glad the ski people are being sorted. If I was going and had paid that much I def be waiting to AUG to sit the repeats.

I was meant to start my placement on Monday but am just starting it a few days later so all is good for me.

And for all those who are arent impressed with DIT. In my expereince they are very helpful and when you need something they'll help you out. Including lectures, support staff and the guys in the socs office.
