What have you won on National Lottery Scratch Cards and when?

Hi has anyone won much on any of the National Lottery Scratch Cards, I have bought them on and off over the last 10 years and the most I ever won was £50 back in 2001.

I have heard of very few people who have won on them but know of nobody who have won the largest prizes.

What has you won over the last year?

Most I ever one was €50

I remember when I was washing cars at a forecourt myself and the other lad used all our tips on one day in scratch cards, about €50 and won nothing. Now on average you're gonna get something in every 3 or 4, even if its only a free ticket.

The next morning, when there couldn't have been more than 3 sold, some aul bag won €5000

€25 on the 2nd try. The first scratchcard I bought had a prize of a free scratchcard so I claimed it and the second scratchcard won me €25

I never really buy them, cos the most you would usually win is €2 or maybe €5.

I tend to buy the Hampers and Roses ones coming up to Christmas though, and was lucky enough to win a hamper this year AND last year.

I gave them both to my Mam cos I'm lovely like that:D

I only get them when they are the "prizes" from the Lotto +1 or +2 draws. A few weeks ago, I got 4 of them and won nothing. They are a con but there's no way of proving it.

It'd be totally worth it though!

Once you get on the show you're sorted! You're guaranteed a few grand, a car or two and maybe a holiday and you don't even have to do anything! Just sit there grinning like an eejit waiting for your number ball to pop up out of the machine.

I have two scratch cards with three stars each and I'm definitely sending them in.

I buy a tonne of scratch cards each week so I'm sure I've won some amount at some stage. I don't buy them to win, I'm just addicted to smoking the foil scratchings

Ok, on the new Deal or No Deal Scratch card the National Lottery claims that we can win up to 25,000 euros instantly, Does anybody know if who has one it? How many Scratchs are issued with this prize, 1 a week, a month a year? very 5 years,? how often?

Is there anyone who knows of a person who have gotten the top prize in 2009? My wife and Mother have bought hundreds and got nothing

I remember once I bought a card and won 2 euro, so bought another. On that I got a free card, and won another 4 euro, so bought two more. Won two more free cards. This went on for about an hour and in the end I had to leave and cash in my FREE CARD WINNER somewhere else because the girl in the shop was giving me serioously dodgy looks like she thought I was stalking her. I lost a lot of time that day and in the end, won nothing on the card I cashed in somewhere else.

I did win fifty pounds once, but it must have been ages and ages ago because I also bought a Mars Almond with the card and those things are gone ages.

Yeah the Irish version of this show seems to me to be a complete gimmick. The chances of getting on the show are once a week but you can never ever scratch a "Deal" to send the scratch card in let alone win big. I did win a fiver once so brought my fiver to The Gormet Burger Kitchen and stuffed my face vowing to never buy another stoopid deal or no deal scratch card again.

Won €1000 last April when my girlfriend bought me a ticket! And have won €25 a few times when buying Winning Streak or Spin and Win.. Don't buy them much, just now and again with loose change!

A guy from my town won the top prize, €250,000 on a Winning streak scratch card before Christmas.

€100 in 2005 on a scratch card bought from a filling station in Wlakinstown.
What really makes me angry, is the prizes on the actual lotto!
Like if you get 3 nos n lotto 1 or 2 you get a measily free ticket where they know dam rightly your not gonna win a shilling! Just give us the 3 euro or cash or whatever!
Also the prizes are a bit cr@p to be honest as in the way their spaced out.
6million may be first prize, but match 5 plus bonus for 25k and 5 no's is less again!

I won €10 there about 5 years ago.
That's the highest amount I've ever won.

And don't get me started on those stratch cards they give out for cancer/asthma etc, biggest feckin scam there ever was.
Would they not just be better off selling buttons or something?

Some years ago about 15 or so I entered a competition in the Daly Mirror, I won second prize which was 50 scratch cards, I remember the postman knocking on the door, I opened it and got a registered package from him.

Myself the wife and the brother were in the house at the time only a few cigarettes between us and no money in the house.Needless to say we divided up the scratch cards between us and we started scratching like dogs with fleas. 50 cards later I won £2 and two lots of 3 stars. In order to get the £2 I had to send away for it and post the two lots of stars. At the end of the day, I made a £1 profit after the post.

The only time I get scratch cards is when I win them on the Lotto, which is all I ever win in the Lotto Then I only ever win about €2 on the scratchie... Although I did win €6 once! But that was years ago.
