Just a quick question. Only just started some light weight work. I'm fairly unfit etc so I'm starting off small, looking to be a on pretty decent plan in about a month or so. But after weights (next day etc) I'm finding my elbows are pretty stiff/sore. Is this just because I'm still not used to them or is it bad form or what? Any help greatly appreciated, cheers guys.

Do you mean the elbow itself or the muscles above (tricep/bicep)and below the eblow (forearm)?

Yeah the inside of the elbow if you know what I mean. Biceps etc as well but I know they should be, just wondering if the elbow is just bad form or just a case of getting used to it. As for what Im doing, it's basic stuff like hammer curls and such

Ok. If it is sore then stop doing the curls for a week or so.

If it continues to be sore then go and see a medical professional. Closing this thread now as it borders on medical advice when we do not give.

When it is fine you could maybe consider working more on chin ups or lat pull downs with a narrow grip & palms towards face. These will work your biceps as well as back.

    Good luck.
