    Hey guys.

Decided to get fit and healthy at last. One major problem though, i have 1 confirmed herniated disc (lower spine) and one more possibly gone (too afraid to go for mri), also bad sciatica too. I am absolutely terrified to go to a gym in case i do more damage. I went to physio just after my son was born (12yrs) and more damage was done. Any exercises and/or equipment i should stay away from.

Swimming increases the pain alot. So does walking.:(

I'm afraid if you have pre-existing injuries we can't help you out - it's something a medical professional would need to look at. Best of luck.
