Just wondering if anyone can tell me if its possible to get assistance through the energy conservation scheme for window glazing in an old house?

There are a lot of Grants going at present with the SEI Home energy saving scheme.
You will need to check what the requirements are.
There are grants for the elderly who want to up grade there houses which includes windows.
But i'm not sure which department or council looks after this.

The Warmer Homes Scheme provides heavily subsidised insulation and draught-proofing for eligible households, but not replacement glazing unfortunately. There was talk that the Home Energy Saving Scheme might be extended to include Double Glazing, but this hasn't happened.
