    Hi,

I am looking for a really good deep tissue masseuse in the Dublin area. Preferably feemale and in D8 or D12. City centre is good also.

    Thanks, ;)

    Hi,

I have been there before and found that both of them were very average. Are you recommending somebody in particular?

Well although I'm in Dublin, the only guy I'd recommend is in Navan, so thats no good for you.

    Sorry.

Probably the same guy I used to use. Was he based in Jackie Skelly. Great guy. I used to go to a girl in Clonee. She was the best sports and deep tissue masseuse I have ever been to but I think she changed careers.

I was just going to ask the same question......am looking for an expert in deep tissue massage for my chronically strained neck, back and shoulders - preferably in South County Dublin. A lot of people advertise DTM but there's a wide variation and I find it really depressing to get a weak or unskilled massage. Please?

I go to a girl who batters the life out of me - but the relief I get is amazing.

She works in the TickNock area - see
    http://therapysuite.ie/
for contact details and more info.

    I highly recommend her.

Kevin is good alright, he used to work on the fighters out in Andy Ryan's BJJ Revolution gym. But the OP is looking for D8 or D12 so I suspect TF Malahide is a bit out of the way.

I was also going to ask the same question. Ive a hamstring injury at the minute and havent been able to run since the dublin marathon. Im seeing a physio and have been doing all of my exercises but i still cant run which is very very frustrating:mad:

I find deep tissue massage really really helpful. Ive been going to Deja Vu in Rathmines.Theres a great thai girl in there but Id really like to go to someone who specialises in sports injuries preferably female and itd be great if they run themselves.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Pint size

Not female, but I can recommend Ciaran Fitzpatrick in Dundrum (about 10 mins from shopping center) as a physical therapist who should be able to help you with you hamstring issues.

He is/was a runner and he works with a lot of the Irish athletes such as Derval O'Rourke etc. He is also associated with Gerard Hartmann who is a well renowned sports therapist. Gerard Hartmann works on Paula Radcliffe among others.

This guy is really good (IMHO) and is used to dealing with running related injuries.

PM me if you want his contact number.

    Best Regards,

    M

    Hi Bugnug,
Perhaps you've already found a masseuse. However if you have not yet found someone or if you are not happy or even healed yet. Then i'd highly recommend Shaun Gilmore (Aussie chap) of Sports and Mobility Therapy. He has a clinic in Rathmines. I know you were looking for a female but if you are still in pain you've got to try this guy out. He is seriously good and knows his stuff. He fixed my frozen shoulder after many unsatisfactory results from docs, physios etc. He has experience with Rugby, GAA, teams Tae-kwon Do, Riverdance etc. His website www.shaungilmore.com.
    Good luck
