Foldable Weight Bench

    Hi There

There is no problem folding this type of bench. It takes less then 10 seconds.

If you haven't bought it yet and you want to save a few bob, I have one in my garage you are welcome to. You would have to collect it though. Let me know if you are interested. Also not sure if it has the fly attachments, but I think it has.

As for weights, I would go with the 140kg Olympic set from Irish Lifting.
    See http://www.irish-lifting.com/product_info_equipment.php?cPath=1_15&products_id=259

This will be enough weight to keep you going for a while.

Best Regards & Happy New Year,

    M

Do you think that bench could handle a 140kg Olympic set?

    Hi Enfant Terrible

Yep, I reckon that you would be ok with 140kg . Can you bench 140kg??

The most I ever benched on it was 75kg and had no problems.

To be honest I am not that mad about these benches.

    Pros:
    • Cheap and Cheerful
    • Ok for starting off
    Cons:
    • Pretty Narrow when compared to benches in a gym
    • The posts that hold the barbell are not adjustable, so incline bench press is fairly awkward.
    • Bench does not decline
    • Fly and leg attachments are more gimmick the functional

No, they take up hardly any space when folded.

    Best Regards,

    M
