Does anyone have any recommendations for Pilates DVDs, i run quite a bit and would like to do some pilates to assist with core work, don't really have time for a class at the moment so a DVD would be next best thing.

    hi,

I got the Dummies guide to Pilates and find it great. I would say though that you would need to have an idea about the principles of Pilates - breathing etc- to get the best from it..Having said that it is easy to follow and covers the basic moves. I had also got a power band and dvd set in tesco about 2 years ago and found that a great change to the normal pilates.

If you have done Pilates in a class and feel like something a bit different then using the Band can add something a bit different - great for the arms too....!
