    These guys run RYA courses

they are near holyhead. You could also check direct with the RYA.org and also with Sunsail

Your first hurdle is get your yachtmaster offshore and get your miles logged.
You will then need a first aid qualification and a radio qualification.
The last two can be done for about 200 each over a weekend.

the coastal instructor seems to require the above. Costs are not high about 500. Same for Offshore instructor bit you need about 8000 miles logged.

It seems like anything else - the cost for an exam to be a doctor is about 200 but you will need seven years of experience.

    ISAW,

Sunsail need dinghy instructors, too. I get the feeling the OP wants to be a sunsail DINGHY instructor not an offshore instructor :p
