I have been doing a program the last 3 months that I got from a trainer and this has been the way that the program was outlined. Obviously the weight increased as the reps went down. I spent a month on 3x12 and another months on 3x8 then 2 weeks each on 4x6 and 4x4. So what do I do next? I have left the gym that I got this program from.

I was informed by the trainer at the time what was the point of doing diferent number of reps for an amount of time, but I didn't really understand it. Would anyone be able to explain to me simply what was the point in doing this? Thanks

What are you doing? What lifts, etc?

    What are your goals?

What are your stats (weight, height, age, gender)?

    What's your diet like?
