Doesn't everyone use facebook for stalking though?

    Yes.
My number 1 stalker was God, followed closely by Santa.

Hadn't heard of it. But, if being wary of being stalked was an issue for someone, why even have a facebook/whatever account? Hell, why even leave their house/apartment in their lives?

If it did, I'd say Facebook would shut it down.

I presume it tells you whoever has been posting most on your page and then tries to convince you that these are the people 'stalking/viewing' you. Also probably throws a few random names off your friends list into the mix
    to confuse.
    Utter nonsense.

Yet 500k+ people have signed up, the same type of people that still forward messages about msn/aol/yahoo/facebook shutting down/planning to charge for the site. The same people that forward emails proclaiming that if you forward the email to enough people, Bill Gates will come around and give you oral.

    Idiots essentially.

If you don't want to be stalked, set it to private.

Quickly followed by locking up your doors and windows.

So you're telling me the candlelit bedroom I've prepared is all for nothing?

    Damn you Bill Gates.

Well, the privacy settings have changed now, and the default is that even people who aren't your friends can view your page, until you change the settings yourself. So would you be able to use facebook stalker to see who's viewing your page that way - like, someone who isn't in your friends list?

Setting it on private is a good idea

I haven't encountered a way to see who has been viewing your profile - a feature that bebo actually has. But, in most respects, facebook is better than bebo.

I've no idea. I'm presuming not though but that it will claim that's what it is doing.

I'm pretty sure they Facebook can't reveal or allow third party applications to reveal viewing information on account of their privacy agreement.

ya, but hardly anyone on bebo could view who is seeing there profile as hardly anyone would hav that yoke on for seeing who is viewing ur page

This stalker add-on could lead to lawsuits!....if you are wrongly labeled a "stalker" by the software....can o' worms!

    .... Why?!

Maybe someone went onto your page because they thought they knew you and wanted to check before they added you. What difference does it make? If they don't talk to you, they aren't affecting you. If the not knowing bothers you, set your page to private!

Finally, no, it will not work!

    Eh......

    Who cares?

Why do you want to know? The people visiting are going to be your "friends" anyway. Unless you have the privacy settings in such a way that you let random people see your page, in which case why do you want to see who exactly is visiting your page?

Man, Facebook bugs the crap out of me sometimes.

Just put everything on to private.

Add people you know, ie; friends.

    No more stalkers.

Default privacy settings can be changed quite easily.

I will never understand people who sign up for these "stalker" applications when they have their profile set to private. So you basically want to see who out of those you willfully added as a friend has been looking at your profile?? Sad.
