What was your best ever Christmas Eve??

    I'll start ..

TODAY was my best ever Christmas Eve, as to be standing three feet from Glen Hansard, Liam O'Maonlai, Bono, Mundy & Damian Rice busking on Grafton St was sheer magic!!

F**king amazing hour. One of the best of my life.

Not too bothered about Bono tbh but to be singing Hey Day on Christmas Eve along side Glen Hansard has just made my year .. !!

    Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Rumour has it that Glen Hansard and Bono were busking on grafton st earlier. I call bull**** on that. Very unlikely.

My best Christmas Eve would have been the (as yet imaginary) one where Bono and Dave McSavage embarked on a seasonal jam on Grafton Street which attracted the attention of a group of Roma beggars who cemented the festive scene by providing impromptu backing vocals before an intoxicated Degsy (also mob-handed) chanced upon the whole farrago.

    It will happen. It must.

I thought you were going to finish the story with someone throwing a grenade into Glen Hansard, Liam O'Maonlai, Bono, Mundy & Damian Rice.

That would had made my Christmas, not alone Christmas Eve

By far the greatest night of my life.
I was playing with Glen Hansard and Mundy two days ago, and didnt think anything could be better when that happened. Then it happened again, with Damien Rice.
Then, I was completely shocked when Bono strolls in :P.
    Amaaazing night. :D

Also, for anyone who doesnt believe it...

Well, I was cursing myself for missing Glen busking on Monday last and just by chance had to go to Argos at 5pm and so it was a fluke.

I would have prefered to see just Glen to be honest ..

Here's Glen busking Revelate (for the Simon Community) earlier in the week .. (my favourite Frames track)

Best Xmas eve, I must have been between 8 and 11. I don’t know honestly. I only say these ages because I know I was still in the cub scouts. Anyway I was invited to a party of a classmate and at it was two girls I fancied from the cubs scouts. Dublin is small you know! But it was a cold, clear crispy night with stars and magic feeling in the air and I was allowed to stay out till 10 pm as long as I was walked home by my classmate’s parent. But all the way home I couldn’t stop thinking of foresaid girls at party. I’m sure I was shy and didn’t even talk to them but it didn’t matter. One of my friends sat on their poodle dog by accident, we laughed so much that night. I was in heaven :) F*ck Bono!

I've seen him good few times now. Would never get tired of seeing him.

Don't think I have a favourite Christmas Eve as such...can't really remember any of them.

I'll pick last year as my favourite, I was out in the garden sun bathing in NZ! Literally melting while sipping bourbon and coke all day

The year before that was the worst as I had flu and literally couldn't move for days and missed Christmas dinner

I was about 7, I convinced myself I hadn't fallen asleep and that I heard Santa leaving the presents beside the fire - it was 2 am, my parents were still up and had to fight with me to get me to go back to bed, and when I got up again at 4 my presents were amazing - Polly Pocket and loads of other things I actually wanted for once. Deadly!

I love the build up to Christmas.

Depending on your student number (as we will be sitting in order) you probably won't be anywhere near me. As a result I can run away. *does dance*:P

My mate is currently having a mighty Christmas Eve in the pub with his father. It's tradition. When they get kicked out of pub they will go home open bottle of whiskey and try and put presents under the tree.
It takes them hours the state they be in. Well according to him anyway.:D
Sounds like mighty fun! Esp one Christmas when me mate fell into the tree and knocked it over and had to drunkenly re-decorate it :D

Excellent - she's just the right age for Christmas to be amazing this year.

Christmas really is all about children.

To be honest, this is probably the best Christmas Eve I've had. Yesterday myself and my siblings did all the cleaning, so my Mother only had to do the food today, and we only had a small few things to do. Wrapped the presents, watched Christmas films and shows on TV. Joked with the family. Now I'm having a few and some white pudding and rash while posting **** Christmas jollies on the internet with like minded festive folk while my family are watching funnies on the telly. I might turn on National Lampoons in a few minutes. I'm so ****ing happy I could cry. (It's the drugs, I wasn't an emotional sap before I did them, a warning kids.)

    Merry Christmas everyone.

Just got an another email from TV3 saying they will be showing the Busking vid on The Morning Show this Monday.

They wouldn't give me the one million euro that I asked for and instead just said that they would put up YouTube Channel url.

Thinking about it now, I could have photoshopped a "TV3 are Useless" T-Shirt on Bono or something :p
