Is as dán nua-aimseartha na líne seo (Dún le Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill), táim ag iarraidh aistriúcháin a dhéanamh orthu ach táim ag teip air!

    Líne:

    am chosaint ar a lán

    time of protection on alot?

    Líne eile:
    An ndéanfása?
    Would you?

    Tuairimí ag éinne?

An bhféadfá comhtéacs an chéad phíosa a thabhairt le do thoil? Tá an chuma ar an dara ceann go bhfuil sé alright!

These lines are from a new age poem (a poem by Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill), I am trying to translate them but I am failing.

Note: I assume Dún is an error - meaning fort.

Tá sé as an dán, Dún le Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill

An chéad líne, tá sé sa dara véarsa:
    Is dún nó daingean iad
    Do ghéaga i mo thimpeall,
    Do ghuailne leathana
    -am chosaint ar a lán.
    Ag cuardach fothaine dom
    Ó gharbhshíon na cinniúna
    tá gairdín foscaidh le fáilt
    idir do dhá shlinnéan.

    It could be:

For my protection, but what then does the 'ar a lán' refer to?

I'd be thinking it's an abbreviation of "do mo chosaint ar a lán"
    protecting me from alot

Sea, do cheapas é sin aréir go dearbh!

Ceann eile ó véarsa eile den dán:

    Is lasmuigh dinn
    tá críocha is ciníocha
ag bruíon is ag bunú siabhialtachtaí
    1*ag puililiú ar an gclár.
    Dá mbeadh ceithre creasa
na cruinne in aon chaor lasrach
    dá n-imeoidh an cosmas
    2*in aon mheall craorag amháin.

Tá an véarsa iomlán go breá, tá díreach dhá líne inti ag cur as dom:

    1*ag puililiú ar an gclár.
    Yelling in the world?!

    2*in aon mheall craorag amháin.
    In one ????????

    Aon thuairimí?
