"In for the kill" by that ginger fire-alarm Laroux.

I'm still mopping the blood from my ears months after first hearing it.

    Shakira - She Wolf

If that had of been relased earlier and played all year long I'd be long gone by now.

Oh and as regards the Killers Human thing-its dancer. Its a Hunter S. Thompson quote.

    Proof: MTV.com
Namely, the "s" in "dancers." Ever since "Human," the first single from the Killers' Day & Age album, debuted last month, fans have been debating just why Flowers has decided to drop the letter and make the song's chorus ("Are we human/ Or are we dancer?") a singular affair. It seems like the whole thing didn't make much sense, and some fans even wondered if he was singing something else, like, say "denser."
So when MTV News caught up with Flowers last week at the Killers' NYC show, we decided to ask him about the chorus controversy.
"It's taken from a quote by [author Hunter S.] Thompson. ... 'We're raising a generation of dancers,' and I took it and ran. I guess it bothers people that it's not grammatically correct, but I think I'm allowed to do whatever I want," he laughed. " 'Denser'? I hadn't heard that one. I don't like 'denser.' "
So, there you go. It's "dancer," and don't you forget it.

Chuckie/LMFAO - Bass Drop Miami Bitch or whatever the proper title of that "I'm in Miami girl" song is. I'd actually cause physical injury to anyone playing that in my presence.

Pit Bull comes a close second and third.

You're really not giving much info here. Why is this?

Well that's cleared that up so! Can i raise an obvious point here? The quote was "we're raising a generation of dancers".....he must have ran an awful long way for that to magically transform into "are we human? or are we dancer?"....the unfathomable pillock.

    What a sh1t lyric.

2009 was alright for pop music actually; Lady GaGa, Cheryl Cole and Lily Allen all had some damn fine singles (although I wouldn't listen to a full album by any of them)

For me, it's anything by Michael Buble. Why seemingly everyone else on the planet except me has fallen in love with this smug, unoriginal glorified karaoke singer is beyond me.

And I don't care what the lyrics to that Killers song are, it's still absolute crap.

Because they say it as if that explains it, eg, Q. what is Brandon Flowers saying there, is it 'are we denser' A. No he is quoting Hunter S Thompson.
Kind of so what - I still don't know what it means and I doubt most ppl do.

then again I'm a little drunk so there is a small possibility that I'm wrong

The worst song of the year was Alexandra Burke - Bad Boys. The "bad boys" in the video were 40 year old dancers wearing "trendy gear" and then Flo bloody Rida shows up at the end

Presume it's been mentioned several times: Black Eyed Peas - I Got A Feeling.

    God how I detest it...

Lady Gaga - Paparazzi.....Ugh, makes me want to puke for some reason.

Thought at first she was saying 'Purple Roxy', I kept thinking who the f**k is that.

He's asking if we're individuals and independent or just following a routine for our lives like a dancer.

The first thing that came into my head was that DAMN song "meet me at the hotel room". I think that's what it's called. Words can't even describe how violent it makes me feel. The singer is just such a tool!
