I have free time for the first time in YEARS to watch and listen to... stuff. Any stuff!

So is there anything on over Christmas the DooM should watch? YOU decide.

(Except I might not actually watch it.)

So far I'm only aware of the Dr. Who Specials, looking forward to them sooo much.

I think The Incredibles is on. I'll be watching that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,445 ✭✭✭Jako8

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I'm a huge Gilliam fan and I absolutely love this film. It's like marmite you'll either love it or hate it.

I'll get back to you with more but that's a must watch.

It's on christmas day on some channel.

Fear and loathing does nothing for me I am afraid. the incredibles, however, does. :)

  • Moderators Posts: 51,922 ✭✭✭✭Delirium

The incredibles as galva mentioned, is on rte1 2pm christmas day.

Curse of the were-rabbit is on rte2 at 12.55pm

Comic related movies over the hols include Batman (the first Keaton movie) and Batman returns. Superman (christopher reeve movie) and Superman returns.

I'd imagine various bond movies will be shown also.

If you can read this, you're too close!

He has a great bit in the Muppets' take on Bo Rhap,

Muppets Christmas Carol is my fave take on the story, even more so than the Jim Carrey one, and that had Jim carrey in it!

    Did you enjoy it?

My Mother watched it with me. She never commented but probably thought..."Jesus, what is my daughter watching!"

I try not to watch the adverts as they give away alot of the good stuff.

    I did actually like it.
    The Master...was just plain insane!

There is one thing I will say about the programme....they do drag it out in some parts. I've noticed it in other episodes. But they always quickly recover thankfully...
WOW I just hit a button and totally messed up me screen

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 25,872 Mod ✭✭✭✭Doctor DooM

Yeah they did the Master right. and yeah it did drag a bit :(

Enjoyed it for the most part!

GOD I love The Master. Jesus he is a mighty actor.

As for the screen thing...I was typing the reply very fast and accidentally(spelling!?) hit a few buttons at the same time and brought up something.

    Those whole shortcut thingys.

This new guy they have for the Doctor. I'm not happy. Not happy at all. Seen a photo. I shall give him a chance though. I'm fair like that.

Can't really talk to Doctor Who fans as I can't remember the exact names of every single character he has met, and so they dismiss me :(:(

Everything ok with the comp now?

John Simms is really good as the Master all right. He hams it up just right :)

The DooM is a big Doctor fan and he does not dismiss you! :)

Every Doctor should be a contrast to the last and I really trust the guy in charge of the series from now on so I have high hopes, despite the fact he does kinda look like the emo doctor :)

13 regenerations of which DT is number 10. I would expect this not to be a hard and fast rule though.

I know several ladies who all agree this is a distinct possibility. Even the stoic DooMlip trembled watching the Sarah Jane adventures episode today which preceded the last adventure... the Doctor turns round to her and asks her if she thinks anyone will remember him.

When him and Wilfred(Donnas Dad...I think that was his name...!) were talking in the cafe....... *sniffs*

    Why David...whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy must you leave!!

Can't wait for the second part.

Must have been a bit annoying for John to have so many costume changes :D ha!

That was my favourite part of the episode. I tend to much prefer the small character moments to the big bombastic scenes. Thus, I will prefer the series when Stephen Moffat takes over :)
