Rehab Shoulder Exercises

Hi All, I could really use some advice.

About a month ago I screwed up my left shoulder moderatly badly. It hurt for about a week before I went to the doc, he sent me to an orthapedist who said there was no critical damage, my rotator cuff wasnt torn but there was a small muscle towards the front (forgotten the name) that was brusied, he said the pain would take about a month to subside and to avoid straining it or working it in that time.

SO i have. And its been hard. I'm 47, in good shape, I usually run and do weights at least four times a week, so stopping any upper body workouts for over a month has been really tough. I feel flabby and soft!

But I realise the importance of not redamaging it. I've reached an age where you need to be a lot more careful with your body, injuries take longer to heal etc.

    My question is this...

The pain has almost completly gone and I'm looking for some gentle easy rehab exercises to start putting some strength back in the shoulder area. I dont want to do anything too sudden and I want to do this right.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

all of those exercise are great but do not matter a jot if you do not break down scar tissue which will still restrict movement in the shoulder.

Get it massaged and do rolling on the shoulders to help with this and then do the exercises suggested
