Hey lads ill try keep this short

    2/12/2009
Placed an order with superfit, alleged 2-3days delivery,

    15/12/2009
Wondered wtf and emailed them, they said they needed verification of my address as i didnt provide a postcode(even though we dont f***in have one)
They obviously were never going to inform me of this

Anywho did so, asked them to email me whether there were any more problems with my order or whether it had been dispatched, i got no reply, i then emailed them again ref my order and lack of replying to my emails.

Its £105 worth of stuff, im guessing i wont get it before xmas now and im really pissed off! Im ringing them tommorrow as this email business isnt fast enough i reckon ive been really patient so far.

    Any advice?

You have a lot of legal protection with mail order stuff. If you paid by credit card, you can get the credit card company onto them if you think they are seriously messing you around. If you paid through PayPal, they can give them a hard time for you.

But it's likely to be just the usual English reluctance to believe that the rest of the world doesn't have a post code, and the postal strike.

It could be the time of year. I ordered something from CD-WOW at the end of November, and instead of taking the 7-10 business days that they claim it will take, it took more like 18 business days.

Could be the time of year BUT if it's not we Irish are protected when we use our credit cards. So basically if the gear doesn't show, your CC company has to refund you and then they go chasing the merchant.

Distance Selling Regulations which protects online buying are also your friend here

A contract must be concluded within 30 days of the consumer placing the order unless the parties have agreed otherwise. If it can't be, then the consumer must be notified of this and will then be entitled to a refund within 30 days. Also, where the specific goods ordered are unavailable, equivalent goods may be supplied but only where the consumer has agreed to this before the contract is made. In addition they can return the equivalent goods, at the supplier's cost, if they decide not to go ahead.

The consumer has seven working days to cancel the contract without giving a reason. In such case, the only cost payable is the direct cost of returning the goods.
If the consumer cancels the contract during the cooling off period, the supplier must reimburse any sums paid by the consumer, except the direct cost of returning the goods, as soon as possible after the exercise of the right of cancellation and certainly within 30 days.
