Dancing On Ice 2010

Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills is apparently among celebrities preparing to take part in the fifth series of Dancing On Ice.

Mills will face competition from the Beatles singer's niece, comedian Emily Atack, as well as from Sinitta, Gordon Ramsay's wife Tana, EastEnders' Danniella Westbrook and Boyzone's Mikey Graham.

The Sunday Mirror reports that Jeremy Sheffield, of Holby City, comedian Bobby Davro and Emmerdale's Hayley Tamaddon are also taking part.

Ex-Coronation Street star Danny Young and TV doctor Hilary Jones will also compete, as will the former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies.

Dancing On Ice returns to ITV in January, with Emma Bunton confirmed to replace Ruthie Henshall on the judging panel.

The only one I've not heard of is Emily Atack. Still would've been interesting to have seen Arlene Phillips as a judge. Not sure what Emma will bring as a judge, will have to wait and see.

Thats the first i heard about Emma Bunton being a judge, don't think she is qualified to judge on ice skating,but i still like her.

thought Sharon would've gone ahead of Sinitta but i suppose nearly giving the poor fella a sex change didn't help her plight!

I say this every year, but sunday night really annoyed me. Why do Torvill and Dean have so much input?? That move they gave Sinitta was far too hard for her. Why doesnt the proffessional do some of the choreography. Why is the the 1st dance always Torvill and Dean. The proffessionals are younger, more flexible and would surely produce a better dance at the start.

Also why does Phillip shout everything grrrr

Because everything is so serious and dramatic!! Do you reckon are his digs at Jason Gardner just pantomine or do they genuinely dislike each other??? I have to say I like Jason, he is harsh but if you listen to him its good advice that he's giving if they'd actually take in what he says.

Hope Mikey Graham does well, would be nice to see an Irish "celebrity" do well after the stints of Stephen Gately and Samantha Mumba.

Enjoying this years Dancing on Ice, it's better than last years because as much as I liked Ray Quinn, he was soo far ahead of the rest there was no real competition element (although I loved the dishy Donal!)
I was gutted Sinitta left- if Ray Quinn and Todd Carty had been in the skate off in 2009 and Ray had slipped would they have saved Todd?! :eek:
I don't think she should have been made to do such a tricky and potentially dangerous lift on her first week anyway. I want Tana Ramsey or Heather Mills out next, not a fan of either. Poor Dr. Hilary tonight- could barely stay upright!

Once again Sharron Davies was wearing a God-awful outfit, just terrible terrible! (Jason said she looked like 'fecal matter'!)
Glad Tana Ramsey went, she wasn't the worst but she's pretty devoid of any personality apart from being dutiful wife to the Vile Gordon.

I know!! It was even risque for a beach holiday it was cut so high! And it doesn't help her physique- it just makes her look longer and more awkward!

Yes i thought lask weeks costume/leotard thing was risky, but this was even worse. It was so high cut, lets hope they put her in something normal next week!!!!!

Yeah they seem to be dressing Sharron in awful costumes. Jason has come under fire for what he said they described what he was saying as 'bullying' her.

I have to say at the moment my faves are Mikey Graham and Daniella Westbrook. I don't know how she didn't fall out of her costume to be honest on Sunday night.

I have to say I love Jason. If they'd stop throwing their eyes up to heaven and moaning in most cases his advice is good. Of course there are times when he can be a bit harsh and I do feel sorry for the contestant. They seem to have it set up in a system as to who comments so they can easily arrange it that he's not commenting on the likes of Sharron but they don't. They know it gets a reaction. I actually don't like that guy Nicky that sits beside Jason.

Why do they keep dressing Sharron in a swimsuit for a costume?! Can they not give her a little skirt to make her look a bit more feminine. She skated well but didn't like her snipe at Jason it was good advice!!

About time the public seen sense. He wasn't really 'dancing' all he really did was skate in a circle holding on to his partner unlike the others. As was said on the show will only turn into a competition when he leaves.
