Im thinking of going ice skating in Athlone. Is it ice or the slippery plastic stuff?? Is it any good and do you have to pre-book it? How much per person?
    Thanks in advance

Someone told me it was there this year. Remember near Golden Island they had the rink on the soccer pitches.
