The Markievicz gym on Townsend St is the only one that I know. It's run by DCC

Thanks to all those that posted - I went to Simply Fitness today and thought that it deserved a two thumbs up!!

I got a free trial today, and having been in a number of gyms in this country and abroad - I found this one to have something alot of normal gyms lack, personality and character! The machines were practically brand new, everything you'd need for a good quality cardio and weights workout. The owner (Kilian) was there and didn't do the 'hard sell' or try and be pushy. He seemed like a young guy who really just enjoyed what he does.
I was only planning on doing the pay as you go, but at 199 for what I need-it works out perfectly for my needs. It kinda felt like I was at my own personal gym, because it was quiet - i really loved it. Considering I was paying 45 a month for westwood, and now im paying 190 in UL - I cannot fault simply fitness. It is simple, basic but ideal for people who just enjoy a workout without the fuss!!
