The only ones that do work are not legally available in Ireland.

The ones that actually did work were mostly removed from the market after a few high profile heart attacks... The one I used to use was Ripped Fuel, not the diluted one they sell now but the real deal... serious stuff it was and the rush etc while running was excellent... the high blood pressure and rapid heart beat etc etc wasn't so nice but you got "ripped"...

Anything you can buy off a counter is not worth it. Actually, there is one fat burner which is legal and effective. Caffeine. Have a double expresso before you hit the gym, and you should be able to crank out more reps and without feeling so much pain. Or be able to do more cardio for longer.

You would have thought so but research suggests that caffeine delivered via coffee is not utilised and the fatty acids are not released from the cell. Coffee will make you feel more hyperactive but it won't make fat more available as a fuel. To do this, you need to take caffeine in its capsule form but to be honest, I don't advocate this. As someone said, just keep exercising instead.

You may be right there but I think what Eileen was trying to say is that coffee can help you to lift heavier or run longer / faster, thereby (indirectly) burning more calories / fat during a gym session .. Ive found a strong coffee 30 minutes before exercise definately helps!
