    Does anyone actually like these?
I don't mean tolerate - do you ever choose them ahead of an actual proper flavour?

I made the mistake of buying a Walkers 18 packet multi-pack despite that it included six 'Ready Salted'.
It was on special offer and I thought that they couldn't be as crap as I recalled.

Ready salted are the muesli of the crisp world.
It's like eating paper mache while watching your life slowly slip through your fingers.

They are rather strange alright. Don't know why anyone would bother bringing them out as a flavour. Well, they're NOT a flavour. Not really. They're just....there.

    Prawn cocktail FTW!

Interestingly they were the only flavour of variety of crisps for sale in the twin towers on that fateful day 9/11.
Plain....... who would have thought it.

Some amount of sickos around these parts.

Toaster just gave up the ghost now, probably in protest at my bringing ready salted crisps into the house.

I like ready salted when Im on a sun holiday. I would pick them over anything else then especially for rehydration purposes! However when back in Ireland, they wouldn't be my first choice.

I will concede defeat on the salt and vinegar question. I would pick salt and vinegar over any other flavour.

But I certainly wouldn't pick Prawn Cocktail!

I would certainly pick smokey bacon over Walkers gee prawn cocktail flavour or any salt & vinegar. S&V just sting.

    *facepalm*
Well you're supposed to keep topping up your salt levels as well as your liquid levels when you're in a very warm climate, as both are lost via sweat.

Meh. If they're the only "flavour" available I'll eat them but I wouldn't purposely buy them. Salt & vinegar on the other hand are just mankey. Ew.

 Ready salted and bovril flavour crisps..

Why do these not exist? I suppose it would be easy enough to make yourself.. But still.
    To the Shops with me!!

Wouldn't buy them singly (hell with the prices I hardly ever buy any crisps singly), but as part of a multipack they go down as well as C&O or S&V.

Oh and lay off the muesli hating.

Ready salted & Bovril crisps... I sense another patent. Kiera, those applications forms still haven't arrived from you yet for me to co-sign. There must be something wrong with your fax machine?
    Wertz wrote: »

Sorry Wertz, muesli is singlehandedly the most miserable food experience there is.

It's confusing the way Walkers cheese & onion are in a blue bag, and salt & vinegar in a green bag. Tends to be the t'other way 'round for other brands. Damn Brits. Nicest Walkers are the ones in the black bag.

Walkers Ready Salted is probably my favourite flavour of crisps.
