    Interesting.

The Times, Rolling Stone and others have voted Kid A to be the number 1 album of the decade but it's not mentioned in The Irish Times list at all.

I am surprised that these didn't win. The hipsters went wild for em. Hospice was good though, MPP was just more overhyped drivel.

    Agreed.

Hospice is great, I think it deserved the bulk of it's buzz. MPP is obscenely overhyped though.

Phoenix are uh... nice to listen to, but I don't get too excited about them. I think Yeasayer might take their niche this year.

MPP is a great album jill, give it another spin in a couple of months time and see what happens.

Agreed. One of the best albums in recent years for me. Don't know how anyone could consider it obscenely over-hyped.

It's been critically aclaimed across the board for a reason.

    My Girls is a masterpiece.

It's twice as irritating as Strawberry Jam. What is the reason for this acclaim Quarryman?

I liked strawberry jam too... I think they are that kind of band. I just love that there is so much going on in each song.

    Muse - The Resistance

No other albums really stand out for me...But if I had to choose, the new Paramore one - Brand New Eyes. Even though it's not that great really...
