Wondering what do any of the ladies here do (if anything!) if they are stupid enough to buy shoes and a bag that they realise they won't use again....... AFTER using them once (i.e. cant be brought back to the shop) Am reeeeeeally annoyed with myself having gotten them.....A learnt lesson I suppose...:(

Donate to a local charity shop, or ask a friend if they would use them.

terribly wasteful but if I really like them I'd buy a dress to match them!

Ask around my friends & if there was no takers, I'd drop them round at the local charity shop. :)

Unless one of your friends likes it or you're feeling charitable.

back in the day when in North America it was the fashion to get white satin shoes dyed to match your bridesmaid or prom dress, I heard that people were suggesting getting them redyed black afterwards to make them wearable again.

So maybe you could look into that?

As for the bag... how bad could it be that you'll never be able to use it again!

I don't really understand why you're annoyed. You bought shoes and a bag to wear to an event which you did. So after wearing them for the purpose they were bought you get annoyed for buying them.

How much did they cost? Are you talking €400-1000?

If expensive sell them either on ebay or gumtree otherwise give them to a charity shop

Ah I'm not losing SLEEP over em!! lol

I'm annoyed because were impulsive buys. Were only 135 altogether. Not a lot compared to 400-1000 you mention obviously (I'm not totally thick!;)) but in todays climate I certainly can't afford to be spending that money on stuff that I'd not really use again.

Like I say, not losing sleep over it......

Thats the way I'm thinking....just a waste! But I'll def either make myself use them, sell em or give them away. Not gonna leave em with the many mnay other shoes (espec) I've bought that are in the back of the wardrobe lol

Thanks to all for replies :)

Try ebay for selling them on. You'll probably get the best price on ebay.
