What are ladies' opinions on grey hair on a man - good, bad, not an issue?

As a guy I'd rather be grey than bald, I dont imagine most women would have a problem with a guy with all grey hair, I wanna be a silver fox when i get older :D

Grey hair can be very, very sexy.

Saying that, so can long hair, short hair, black, blonde and ginger or no hair at all :D

    If you're cute, you're cute.

I think its so sexy! George Clooney like c`mon :D

And yep it is way better to go grey than have a colour put in, as a hairdresser Ive had plenty of men in my time come in and ask for a colour  Scary Sh1t man :D

Oooh give me a silver fox any day, yum! Depends on the fella of course, no amount of hair is going to make you attractive if you just ain't got it.

Also there are many different types of grey. I love the salt and pepper colour!

It can be sexy. Even premature gray can be sexy. Behold Anderson Cooper, news guy from CNN. He's only 40...

    I so WOULD!!
Alas, he is gay, so he would NOT.

I'm not so sure, I've grey hair since my late 20's. In my early thirties I started putting a colour in my hair and I really noticed the increase in female attention I was receiving, even with women I was already acquainted with. I hooked up with my last girlfriend during this time. I stopped colouring it about a year into that relationship as the hairdresser moved, and I couldn't get someone else that did as good a job. Apart from that it was also a bit of a relief not to be a slave to my vanity/insecurities anymore. Anyway, during the years I was with my ex-partner, the one thing I knew she would have liked would have been for me to colour my hair again. I know she preferred how I looked with colour in my hair and she hinted at this the odd time. I don't think she liked the fact that grey hair made me look older. Other women said it to me at different times also - a couple of these were hairdressers.
In my mind I see most women as seeing grey hair associated with aging, and non-grey hair associated with youth and virility. Am I way off?

You can have mine... I barely got out of my 20s before it went silver. Would like to have my black hair back. Naturally, obviously.

I would think so. Think this would apply more to a woman tbh, not a man. My OH used to dye his hair when I met him first and honestly I spent my time looking at it wondering why it was such a strange colour; as he like most men wasn't very good at maintaining it, and his hair didn't really take the dye all that well either. He stopped doing it eventually and honestly he looks so much better grey haired, even tho he's only in his mid thirties. I think most men look better with a bit of grey; granted it doesn't suit every man but it certainly isn't something that would bother us ladies. If anything I think a lot of us find it more manly. A man being prematurely grey doesn't make him old looking, as his facial features are still youthful. I'd embrace your grey-hairedness if I were you OP;)

I'd have no problem at all with a silver fox :) But I'd help him colour it if it really bothered him.

Sexy - my OH has thick hair still and is black & grey aka 'salt and pepper' - its very very attractive.

Anyone remember "Grecian 2000" ? I thought they had renamed it to "Just For Men" but it's still on sales in a pharmacy near me along side JFM (it's the same thing from the same company).

The current "Just for Men" ad with the two brats encouraging the father to use it so he can meet a new mommy should be enough to put anyone off ...

But I can't imagine ever dying my hair, surely you're supposed to go grey eventually ...

As a bloke, I for one am looking forward to taking on the 'distinguished look'.

In my 20s, my hair was no source for comment. Mid-brown, nothing special.

For the last few years though, I've been getting some bitchy comments about my thatch. (All frm blokes BTW)

Not alone have I not gone gone bald yet, I've committed the cardinal sin of not going obviously grey.

I'm 41 now & am surprised at how much envy I'm getting frm other blokes because of this!

I'm occasionaly being accused of actually dyeing it!

This is bad, cos I'm not in the slightest way vain. ( nothing to get vain about).
Otherwise,I'm totally unremarkable in the looks department.

Makes me think good looks come with their own price attached.

Anywho, I've noticed a small few coming up around the temples in the last little while.

    Grow you fuggers grow!!!

    AAwww!!!

There goes that imaginary option. :P

Grey is nothing at all to worry about for a man. I do have an unreasonable phobia against male pattern baldness though. :o

I started going grey when I was 16. It's no big deal, 31 now about about 60% grey haired.

I'm 23 and noticeably greying, we can swap if you like. I always liked my jet black hair colour and am not impressed by the greys no matter how much I hear about silver foxes and whatnot. I'm already mistaken for being early thirties quite often as it is and don't want to start looking even older.
