do you ever get that let down feeling. you know when you think that everything you trusted and took for granted all your life; all your parents life it was there for ever as far as you thought. now in the last few years we seem to have been let down by everyone we looked up to. all it needs now is to find out you are fkg adopted and that would put the icing on the cake; the cake that would not rise; came out of the oven flat as a pancake.:(

I think a more adequate confectionery/adoption metaphor would be that the cake was in fact a delicious, impressive feat of baking but you found out that they went and bought it in Superquinn.

    Gagging for one now.

What were the ones that had volcano-temperature creamy goo in them when you bit in? Chicken and bacon? Cheese and bacon?

Never liked the mince ones though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 58,456 ✭✭✭✭ibarelycare

I've never had a crispy pancake. I feel like I'm missing out. I am of the strong belief though that pancakes should be eaten sweet, not savoury.
