hmmm, dont have an all time favourite. but if i was stuck on a desrt island with only one song to play, it would be incubus - sick sad little world.

is there anything duct tape can't fix?

Yeah, it can't mend a broken heart....but it can hold down the heart-breaker while you convince them to love you again! :D

But really, I can't think of any situation where duct tape is not an appropriate solution.

When was the last time you wrote a personal letter, by hand, to someone?

probably last november, to my sister, and the whole thing was as gaeilge. really need to get back into that again. i think she's given up on getting a reply to her last one.:o

do you send out thank you cards at christmas/birthdays etc?

Don't think i've ever send a thank you card but certainly thank you texts, phone calls and emails.

Would you consider yourself well travelled?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,196 ✭✭✭Crumble Froo

nah. and i probably will never do all the travelling i once hoped i'd do. i moved from nz to ireland, but miss home quite a bit (dont know if i could move back now, mind), but my holidays from now on will consist of either skipping the ditch to melbourne, or massive savings to get back to ireland.

what would it take for you to emigrate from your home?

Emigrate permanently? I'm not sure. But I'd love to for a few years. The only thing that might keep me from doing it is that it could be complicated with my kids' schooling.

What place in the world could you NEVER see yourself living?

No. You know the way they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions? Well my pathway is paved with abandoned, unloved blogs, LJs and an array of almost-empty journals. I got Keel's Simple Diary for myself for Christmas though, and it's the best thing ever. <3

    What is your favourite smell?

Effing Patagonia . . . we want to take a honeymoon right after our wedding, but the difference in seasons means it's not an ideal time to head there then. It'll have to be next year!

Are you ready for warmer weather?

I have always to some extent celebrated my birthday. Had the usual 21st with a booked out venue etc. For my last one just cake and candles and a meal with the family.

Can you name one environmentally friendly thing you have done in the last week?
