man, just enough to get by *comfortably* without counting every dollar would be awesome.

to get things as i need them, rather than having to save and budget and all that crap.

imagine how awesome it would be to say 'hey, my jeans are covered in holes and nothign stays in my pockets anymore. i know! ill buy new ones!' and then just go and buy new jeans. wow! same, i spent 2months this winter with holes in my shoes and rather wet feet (and was consequently quite cranky for a lot of winter), because i couldnt afford new shoes (no, not even the cheapo ones).

i'd just love to be able to have enough to get by comfortably. to food shop and be able to buy thigns cos they're healthy and part of a decent diet, and not because they're cheap, or you get more with that one.

i'd be happy to keep my job, and still keep saving up for things i wanted that weren't necessary, like nights out, gigs, tattoos, surf/skate stuff, cds. i'd love that. im not greedy, money's not the be all and end all, but i'd love to be able to live comfortably.

though failing all that, if i could have *all* the money in the world, i'd have houses by the beach in nz, samoa, ireland and indonesia, heaps of surfboards, and a private plane to get to those coutnries as and when i please ^_^

i'd buy a pier. And hire a man to collect the leftovers from all the fishmongers, then dump said leftovers over the side of my private pier. This would attract plenty of fish. Then i'd go fishing.

I would give all the money I needed to people who really needed it, until I had just enough to live comfortably and help people.

Ild love to do one of them foreign aid trips building houses or nursing kids, but I reckon you'ld need lots of money to be able to do that how ironic!!

imagine how awesome it would be to say 'hey, my jeans are covered in holes and nothign stays in my pockets anymore. i know! ill buy new ones!' and then just go and buy new jeans. wow!

but if nothing stayed in the pockets how wold you carry your money? :p

I'd buy apartments in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, New York and Tokyo. Then I'd buy land with mansions in Canada, Argentina, New Zealand & Donegal.
For the remainder of my days I'd just sit around all day getting wasted and drinking Capri Suns.

If say I had limitless money to last my lifetime,
    I would try to:
    .open more youth clubs
.open more after-school centers to help kids with their homework
.open more centers and employ more staff in them for victims of domestic abuse.
.same as above for the rape crisis centers around the country
.donate money and possibly supply more premises to SVP
    .donate money to barnardos
.put huge money into medical research centers.

Presuming I still had endless money, I would build myself and my family members, crib style mansions, and holiday homes, buy a huge load of electrical goods, cars and clothing,
and then to pass my days,I would like to:
.Travel the world.Go on safari,Visit the rainforest.Visit Lapland etc.
    .Go swimming with dolphins
.Do the highest bungee in the world
    .Go cage diving with sharks
    .Go sky-diving
.Get a trip to space(when possible)
    .Visit a chocolate factory.
.Get cookery lessons for a year from a professional chef.
.Attend an art class(as a hobby)
    .Attend a photography class(as a hobby)
.Complete an interior design course.(A short one, just out of interest)
    .Attend lots of luxurious spas.
.Visit Disneyland, and other massive theme parks
    .Attend lots of concerts worldwide
.Learn a few languages (Irish,Spanish,French, and German)
.If I had the ability(? dunno if I would?) complete a degree in Biotechnology, and also in Psychology, and maybe an English Literature degree.

All these are assuming I had my entire life to achieve these things, and didn't have to worry about getting a job etc.
If I managed to pass a degree in any of the above subjects,I would probably try to get a job with the one I liked best, when I was abit older. :)

I'd probably spend my days burning money in front of poor people. And by poor people I mean every one else on the planet because I would be so rich that you'd all be poor by comparison.

Nothing wrong with that. I guess we all hanker after the same thing really - assurance and peace of mind. Decadent lifestyles do nothing for me. It just makes me sad. But at the back of my mind there is always a wee devil that hankers for adventure

that's the point. i have no feckin money now, and my pockets can't hold any. though if i put my wallet in my right pocket, and my phone on the inside of that pocket, the wallet usually works as a plug and stops the phone falling out.

if i'd money though, i could replace my trews before the holes became substantial enough to lose things.

It would be the simple things about having enough money that appeal to me like buying a meal without having to scan the menu to see how much it costs first, could I afford a couple of weeks in the sun, could I replace a suit that I have had for the last 7 years.

Would I be tempted to blow it all in a Las Vegas casino or dash out and buy the latest Aston Martin? I don't think so.

The key message that comes across is that most of us would simply like to have enough money to get by

I'd move into a nice apartment in town or Portobello, go to all the gigs I want, eat in all my favourite places. I'd still go to college and keep my job, but like everyone else said, it'd be nice just not having to worry :)

I'd use the excess money to open the business I've always wanted to run. With the rest of the money I've live a modest yet comfortable lifestyle in a nice middle class area in my typical middle class house.
