Dunno if this is a problem for anyone else but when I'm training and sweating a lot I find my nipples getting agitated by the t-shirt i'm wearing. They're normal t-shirts and when i'm done i do be soaked! when i take t-shirt off my nipples are very sensitive and red! Any advice?!!

When running? If it is then it's a friction burn and you can get creams for it.Also if it is post this in the athletics/tri section they would be better able to answer it.If it's not caused by running then I'm not sure.Maybe switch from polyester to cotton tshirts?

You can try sticking plasters over your nipples. I think there's special nipple guards available too (I'm serious). Athletics and Tri is the place to ask tho.

Yeah it's when I'm running on the treadmill! Do the creams stop it permanently or will i have to keep re-applying? What's the name of them?!

Coat the nipple in Vaseline before exercising
    It works.

Or a tight vest, like compression shirts, might be too warm though.

Nipple guard look's to be a lot less hassle.

It'll probably go away once you stop breastfeeding.

But if it doesn't you could try normal plasters. Never suffered from it myself but I know a lot of runners who do.

    Hi,

Wearing a compression top helps alot. I have Nike Compression tops and no more bleeding nipple or sensitive nipple.

Vasaline or body glide, compression tops or plasters (no plasters if you're hairy!), wicking tee shirts rather than cotton. Different things work for different people.

    Or excercise topless :D

Two things that I've found helps prevent chafing:

    1. Not running in a cotton shirt - switch to one of the lighter, technical fibre shirts.

    2. A little bit of Sudocrem spread thinly over the area that needs protecting works wonders, and it's not greasy like Vaseline. You can buy a small jar and it will last a long, long time.
