Funny thing. Just jumped into here out of interest and saw the setup above and was like "that looks familiar". Lo and behold it was familiar. Way to get the ball rolling heebus!

    +1

I have a totally wireless setup. No cables are visible. Only wires I have are plugs and the scart for Sky. HDMI Wireless, Wireless Internet, Wireless Controller, Wireless Surround sound. Also there is a plug behind my wall mount. Making everything look wireless. It's not hard to do. The only hard thing is fitting new plugs, but sure tis handy otherwise and looks sweet.

I dont think so. Should be running hidden in the wall as a brand new setup that build for this function only. (I suppose if its a wireless kind, running costly, count on how many battery need and if you look with attention you cant see any wire to TV as well :) )

    No magic, or wireless :p
Just ran all the speaker wires up to the attic and then down behind the TV. I've got hdmi/component/power/ethernet and even a vga cable hidden behind the wall to come out behind the av bench.
Obviously I didnt do it myself :D

Its an old pic but projectors with 5.1 systems really are the way to go, Gears and Modern Warfare on an 8ft screen with booming sound, hells yeah :D

I'll stick with my 1080p telly. Until the HD projectors comedown in price that is.

I also like gaming and seeing daylight at the same time. Open the curtains on a sunny day and then see how good a projector is.

I'd put the money I'd save from not buying a projector into getting a smaller screen with a higher contrast ratio and a higher refresh rate.

Absolutely, projectors are great for movies but a bit overwhelming for games, especially if there is a lot happening on screen they can send you a bit mad.
