What General Consensus on Boards.ie do you Disagree with?

So I've been reading some boards.ie posts and a few points I want to make :


I think Gerry Ryan is funny and entertaining. I enjoy listening to his show and it always puts a smile on my face. I genuinely think his show is the best on Irish morning radio.


Whilst I do hate the way Dave McSavage reiterates the same material, I think his off the cuff stuff is brilliant. I think hes very quick witted and funny in slagging people and if you take it seriously then your the sad one not him its all a joke. I think a lot of hatred on here for McSavage is more than likely from people who were slagged in jest and took it seriously because they are socially inept to good natured slagging.


I also think Jedward were brilliant. They were hilarious and I feel that people who took them so seriously and hated them genuinely have lower IQs than people who understood they were a joke and a funny one at that.

I do not disagree all the time with General Consensus but I find some of his points a bit one-sided and bigoted.

I also have problems with General Chaos, Corporal Punishment and Captain Fantastic. They're mostly pr*cks.

2nd thread post multi thanks, yes it might be a little funny but does everyone have to hit thanks? or people who seem to thank mods after thread decisions/points all the time, you see the same names popping up. bunch of lick arses

mods decide that a thread doesnt belong in AH and then close it, even tho alot of people would like to discuss it in AH. there is another forum on boards for every thread in AH, Tiger woods=golf forum.
late late toy show threads in AH were locked the night it was on tv, doesnt make sense really.

calling someone an idiot when they ARE actually an idiot should be allowed, as long as you can back it up and its not just random abuse.
yes its the internet where people are protected by distance but if I have an argument with someone in real life I will call them an idiot if they are an idiot.


the ladies lounge is not a ladies lounge

working class kids like tracksuits and may have a certain accent, that doesnt make them scumbags. if you look down on someone just because of the way they dress you imo are the scumbag
