Incredibly frosty out this morning, overnight low was -2.9°C
Is probably going to snow for a while here this morning before it turns to rain, pity , I'll be in work if I dont crash on the way in, going to take it really slowly.

Some sort of trough line is approaching here in Galway. Dosen't look too impressive on the current radar:

    Web_radar-5.gif

but looks pretty mad from the ground. Wind still southerly but the trough line clouds are racing in from a WSW direction.

    Interesting...:)

Edit: 4.53pm. Passing over currently, but just a light trickle so far  Bark worse than bite job it seems....:pac:

Dry and really bright in South Sligo right now, though the mist is rising from the flooded fields. At the moment it's nearly brighter than some of the days recently.

Awful, dirty filty evening here in cork. The high tide which is a spring tide should make for a bit of fun in the city.

Witnessed a huge flash of lightning around 3am last night driving back from Salthill and got home just in time to witness an epic hail and rain storm which dumped 3.2mm in the space of 5 mins. Another shower around 5.30am dumped 1.3mm in just one minute. Slept through that though :o
