    Or not.
So as we know Sheamus is the number one contender to Cena, while I was not that keen on the idea I admit I am beginning to warm to the upcoming match between the two. Sheams tonight I assume will kill someone to get over him more over as a hell, Bourne is his most likely victim.
We also have some horrid little court segment with midgets and the anti establishment DX which will obviously lead to lots of midget jokes. Lolz!
I expect they will announce Kofi v Orton for TLC a match that should be very good if it happens.
Oh and Melina will botch moves but against who tonight? Maryse, Fox or some other unfortunate lady?
It begins at 2 and yes folks we will riot or bitch on the net if no Masters. :pac:

id say verne will be the judge in the stupid courtcase segment! they really need to build on last weeks raw which was brilliant!......but they wont!

The courtroom segment has the ability to be the worst segment of the year. I should be hoping for a good Raw but for this week, I'm not too sure.

I think SD and ECW superstars will be at Raw tonight as they're going to Iraq after tonight's show.

BTW, why doesn't the poll have Cena and Hornswoggle in it??

The last courtroom skit they did with Bischoff in 2005(?) was pretty funny:)

Vintage Cole being put through the table

Primo should come out and talk about how he was cheated out his chance for the world title and last weeks Raw should be replayed. Failing that, he'd like to be slotted into the table match at TLC.

yeah thats so Delaney Primo ;)

last two raws were the only two ive watched since i moved to Taiwan and they were both a vast immprovement on what i watched back in Ireland, i fear ill finx it but im going for Lucky number three tonight.

As far as who should Sheamus destroy, as much as id love to see me some vintage Micheal cole going through a table Id go for Cena again if it were an option as personally i dont see him being the next WWE champion so id like Sheamus to get as much of a profile as he can pre defeat so he still has some when/if he loses. Putting Cena through another beating would keep him (Sheamus) strong in peoples minds, do it to Cole or someone and people wont care, hell if anything they would cheer Sheamus as he does it.

I voted for Benoit but in bad taste....
    I sir am no Gentleman....

    Failing the Zombie Crippler option.
Randy Orton should be the next burn victim of the Fiery red hand...It will give him a bit of credibility in destroying the top heel.

I expect SOS and Orton to do one on Cena.

SOS will probably roll over Henry to make him look a legitimate threat to Cena.

And as far as the DX script goes, I'm pretty sure it will contain all of the following...

Dead crowd for DX and Jerishow, hopefully they prep up a little.
Kofi V orton tonight? If this ends clean then they are idiots, PPV match surely?

What an overly long, boring opening promo!
I dont give a crap about DX v Jeri-Show,feck off my screen and give me some Kofi/Bourne/Swagger/Miz or S.O.S!

Dull Raw which was a shame as the last few weeks were really good.
    Highlights which were few..
Carlito, you see Fla and Icey the boy is not as useless as you think. ;) Very good segment even if Cena's shouting was a little irritating. :(
Hunter v Jericho was decent enough as well.
    Da Miz. ~ :P
Thats it really the rest of the show was pretty brutal really.

    Lowlights they were many...
    Mark Henry's rapping
    Mark Henry's dancing
    Mark Henry's wrestling
    Mark Henry vs Miz
The Divas match was worthless although it was nice to be reassured that Maryse is hot.:pac:
The Kofi v Orton match should not have happened, I suppose the fact that it was not clean means that people will still be hot for it at the PPV.
The opening segment which was 47 minutes long.
Hunter burying the titles he is meant to be wrestling for was a bit silly, even outside that it was dull stuff from everyone even Jericho.
The commentary, just retire King and perve over underage girls on the internet and leave us alone you washed up old fart. :(
No Chris Masters, do they even care about ratings anymore?:mad::mad:

Good ol Carlito I always said he had talent;). Doesn't say much for SOS that they had to get Carlito to do his talking. It would be good to see Carlito reach his potential. I'm enjoying everyone running down Cena its a good angle to make me want to listen to is promo's.

That is all I watched of RAW so far, scanned the show for SOS.

Edit: The opening was terrible dull.

Yeah, but it was a short segment
    Worse than a Hunter original....

    Decent Raw imo....
Better than last weeks Smackdown for the first time in ages... I never knew Verne Troyer was so small... Like even compared to Hornswoggle hes tiny.
Mark Henry needs to make a tag team with Chris Masters and be confined to from the vault piss break matches for the rest of their lives....Its at the stage he's holding MVP back.I think that they seriously ruined the Summerslam ME for me if that was a possible spoiler.

They're really ballsing up poor Seamus big time.

Santino was more over than he was. When Seamus destroyed him (which he did really well btw) they crowd didn't give a sh*t. This is what happens when yoiu push someone without taking the time and effort to give them a reason to care about him.

Then they have him look like a totaly p*ssy by backing off Cena when up till now he's been booked as a monster heel. Makes no sense.

Oh and Carlito's still muck, one decent promo doesn't make up for year after year of half hearted disinterested drivel.

Plus it's all been condensed into a couple of weeks- that's not enough time frame to excuse inconsistencies like that. Over a longer period they could build up around mind games etc- but this isn't the case here.

Hmm, I have been getting the feeling that not only are WWE pushing him as a monster Heel, but as a SMART monster heel. He took his time during the Breakout Battle Royal, picking his moments to eliminate people.

Guys, I really do think Sheamus could actually win the title-it would have to be in a way to protect Cena but I cannot rule it out. It would free up Cena for a shot against the Streak (neither world title needs to be involved in the streak match at WM).

The best part of RAW this week was the Miz and Santino's promos even though Santino was dishing the Irish i laughed :D

I'm surprised Jericho lost i thought for sure next week it would be HHH against Jerishow with him winning

I hope Jericho loses the tag titles soon so he can get back in the title picture on SD feuding with Taker

As seen on Raw last night, WWE did not run the "Little People's Court" segment that was announced the week before on the show. PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE decided to push the segment back a week, and instead it is expected to run next week on the show. The reason being given at this time was that creative simply wanted to hold off for another week on running the segment(s).

So Midget Court is next week then..........

I would agree with everything you said there. First when I saw Sheamus appear and Cena called him to the ring I was dying to see Big red hit the ring, but him backing off didn't make him look like a p*ssy. He maintained his poise and didn't look scared or flustered as it backed off, it was more a look as if to say i'll remain one up on ya from last week and you'll get a beat down all in good time.
The are definately trying to make him look smart rather than someone who was scared of Cena at that particular time.

I would really preferred to have seen someone with him in a managers role ala Heyman with Lesnar. Let them do all the talking for him

personally i think (and this is a big presumption) we may be seing the start of the promos we will see recapped in the build up and after Cena turns heel. The crowd are already split on him and its usually the more vocal often ppv going crowd that really be let it known but now we are seing Primo and co get on Cena;s back vocalising that the locker room is sick of Cena and a Legend in Jesse "The Body" Ventura going off on one about Cena in a promo right before he gets slammed right through a table. Anyone else think this is a slow build towards Cena snapping and turning Heel, freshing up his character and in a real roundabout way maybe actully getting the fans that like boo him the most to either grow to respect him or boo him when he wants it.

Would it be wise to turn Cena heel from a WWE viewpoint? Tista and Punk turned this year, Hunter will probably turn on HBK and this year the E also lost Jeff and nobody is sure what is the full story of the injury with Rey.

Good spot. The smart monster is an accurate description of his recent actions.

The way he waited for Cena to get wound up before coming out. Then standing on the ramp as Cena got more annoyed before just walking off is the actions of a smart man. He caused Cena to lose his cool completely.

The whole I will invoke my rematch clause at TLC when there are so few matches on the card really opens up the chance of Sheamus actually winning the first match at least.

I hope you're right, this would definitely suit him, and I hope it's expanded on further. They do have their work cut out for them though, from the point of view that it's so rushed and such things often aren't picked up on.

I was disappointed with how little of a comeback Kofi made, a little more than a couple of punches would've gotten a big pop.

Why are they going so far out of their way to ruin Mark Henry? He was one of the most over faces they had not long ago, and was performing brilliantly. A simple raise of the arm and the crowd went nuts. Now they make him look goofy. No, no, no, no, no. As great as he is he can't make that work. They should've teamed up Mark and Masters, arm raising+pec bouncing in time to the arm raising=one crazy hot crowd, guaranteed.

He could go into it with more of a tweener role. Probably just for Wrestlemania. He will be booed by the majority of the audience at Wrestlemania so they may as well. It could end up being a very good build for the match if this is how they are going with it.

Ok my view on a Cena heel turn...

A year ago, there was no chance in hell of Cena turning heel because, along with Mysterio, their merchandise was getting a massive slice of the kids pocket money.

But now that WWE is now PG, the kids are buying the merchandise of many more superstars (especially DX). This means that a Cena hell turn, and the subsequent loss in revenue from Cena kids merchandise, won't cause as much of a financial defecit that it would have a year ago.

If they are going to do a Undertaker v Cena, we need a heel Cena. No question. I would have alot more interest in it.

So to set the scene, we have Cena, who looks like he is completely losing his control because of Sheamus' actions (especially walking away from him). At TLC, Cena makes a masive error due to this rage and loses to Sheamus. He asks for a rematch at TLC, gets it, but loses that also because of the rage he feels over the fans booing etc. Blame it all on the fans, instaheel.

Not going to happens, but would rather it than the usual "build up the monster, feed him to the dogs, release monster from contract 6 months later"

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 47 lockie83

I would love that to happen too, but I'm afraid they see Cena as this generations Hulk Hogan, where they build up the monster heel only for Ce-ogan to bury the heel and we never see the monster heel in the main event again, see reference Umaga!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,153 ✭✭✭Jolt2007

I wouldn't be shocked to see them try pull of some kind of duel face/heel Bret-esque role for Cena. Try have him turn heel and bash those that boo him and hate him, but stay loyal to the young fans that love him. It'd be hard to pull of though, but it could work.

I don't recall him going out of his way to attack the people booing him, just the odd line of acknowledgement that some don't like him.
