hi all all in all i have become a gym freak the last 2 years or so, i go religously 4/5 days a week the other 2/3 days im training for rugby, i have become so enticed in the gym culture that i get in bad moods/depressed (for want of a better word) if i miss a gym session...so much so the last few holidays i have had i have joined gyms in Spain and Thailand when i was there....in the last few weeks i have kinda of lost my motivation for the gym for instance...last week i went to the gym 3 times but on days where i could have gone to it i.e yesterday i did not go and spent the day being lazy and doing nothing....this has kinda of got me worried as i dont want to go back to the way i was before i.e. being a 22.5 stone mess of a person anyway my story over what do you guys do when ur lacking motivation for the gym :):):):)

It happens to the best of us... Just remember your goals, change up your plans, get a new training partner, set a goal, register for a comp! Anything to give it reason again until the love is back!!

it sounds like a symptom of over training IMO, working out EVERY day can sometimes be counter productive. If you really dont feel like going dont force yourself, and remember if your diet is good you wont start piling on weight!

Usually i stick on youtube and just watch some weight lifting videos or read some articles online. Hasn't failed me yet. Even if i look at some after a training session it amps me up for wanting to go the next time.
