Hiding in rocks

Was playing FFA in "Afghan" [glnl]nastypasty was able to get into a rock and kill to his hearts content.
Anyone else seen this or anything like it on any of the other levels?

You have to wonder how those tossers even find out about glitches....sad bastards. OP I wouldn't bother trying to find out where the glitch on Afghan is. Play the game properly or don't play it at all.

Some of these guys that constantly run for glithes are some clowns, in COD WAW I remember there was one on Roundhouse at the back of the map, I sat outside it in a tank and they all still went for it, and they were cracking up because I wouldn't let them in. No chance, you cheat, you don't deserve to win

If you've a problem with them just go back and kill them and dont moan here... That's the beauty of killcam.

I've no problem with campers. It's all about getting kills and staying alive - if you want to mincing around like an eejit I'll gladly sit and wait for you to wander into a room and blow your mickey off (in a non-sexual way)...

The only fun i have with glitches is when im in a game with mates and i use them to pi*s them off!! good times on the headset!

There is a difference between a camper who stays in place and snipes or waits for people to come into a killzone and some guy who is impossible or difficult to kill due to a glitch...I call that cheating. I too like getting idiots that Linford Christie it around a map but I don't jump off map to do it.

Noticed in a FFA game on estate some guy was up to 20-0 kills really fast.Said to myself bet you him and his mate were boosting over at the power station part of the map.Sure enough they were.Killed both of them.Was so satisfying:pac:

haha no i didn't take offense nor do I camp, just annoying hearing people moan about campers, they have no skill etc etc when all you need is a flash bang or well placed grenade to bring their life to an abrupt end.

Let me be the third person to tell you, that it is you who infact is wrong.:P

This topic is about people using glitches to their advantage, this is not an intension of the game and is therefore cheating.

Finding a nice safe spot behind a car, or in a room and waiting for some fools to run past without checking if their is an enemy is part and parcel of the game.

If you were any good, you'd use your heartbeat or uav is spot them, or thread carfully and kill them. That what we call war.

My first day playing MW2, I ran around gung-ho looking for kills. Learnt my lesson pretty quickly.

I encountered some guy hidin in rocks on afghan as well. It was really annoying:( finally just guessed where he was and grenade launchered him outta it!

I like to run around places and if i notice someone heading into the same building or area as me i like to hide behind things, wait till they go by and akimbo shotgun them in the back:) If thats a camper then call mr camper himself:rolleyes:

That's nothing like camping. You are simply waiting on someone to expose themselves.

In general camping isn't a problem. If someone picks a spot and just stays there, they will get killed pretty quickly. To do well in this game, I find you have to keep on the move, within reason. I'm not talking about running around like a goon, but find a spot, pick someone off, move on. Sitting in the one spot will get you found pretty quickly.

Camping by that do you mean playing the game properly ? You know taking proper defensive posistions and using cover ? I hate that too i much prefer when i have guys on my team that run around like headless chickens doing laps of the maps. Not caring that they get killed 20 times and cost your team the match as long as they get their kills.

The thing that strikes me the most about playing COD online is that when ever someone is having a bad game their complaint is that it's either due to campers, noob-tubers, or some other perceived over-reliance on a specific tactic/weapon set. It'sd supposed to be fun. What ruins the fun is not getting your ass handed to you by someone who is good at hiding with a sniper rifle or lobbing grenades acroos the map, but having to listen to other players shout'that's bull****' everytime they die and then starting arguments with the other team when the game is over that make your average youtube comment look like Plato's republic. Not aiming these comments at anyone in particular in this thread, just a general observation

PS Quoted you Rev Kitchen because I agree with what you're saying. I always seem to get the 'most time spent crouching' accolade because I'd rather keep my head down and finish a game 10 and 6 than charge around like an idiot, get twenty kills but give 24 cheap kills to the other team

Unfortunately, there's always going to be glitches in online games and people to find out how to exploit them. As for some of the posts about campers - I agree with one side of it, some people hold down ONE spot instead of tactically moving from cover to cover and it does get irritating but there's always a way around it ie. semtex, cooked grenades and noobtubes. The one thing I find a bit unbalanced is the Model 1887 Akimbo, it's insanely accurate and has unrealistic range in comparison to other shotguns. I do use them, I'm not going to lie. But I do think that they need to be toned down a bit. All of that said, I still love the game.

I think camping is relative to the game-type being played.
You cant complain about camping in TDM of Free for all.
For objective based game-types then I think each player should do his upmost to to win for the team and not just to keep their K/D ratios healthy.

Agreed, there's nothing worse than going into a Sabotage match only to see NOBODY going for the bomb planting and instead just going for outright kills, it's boring and these people should really stick to TDM or FFA but of course they're not going to because of the amount of kills they get. Demolition is a much better gametype IMO because one team has to blow up a point to extend the time. If Sabotage had rounds similar to Demolition or S&D it'd be far better for everyone involved

I don't think they are pussys. You're fairly exposed on the way to the roof so you've ample opportunity to take them out.
I was playing last night and I shot a dude jumping from the crane onto the building. It caused him to miss his landing and he fell to his death. 10 seconds later I see him running back to the crane like a lemming. Needless to say I sorted him out again.
We were playing Demolition so I doubt he was much of an asset to his team.

yeah I'm the same The whole map can see them and yet they still keep trying and trying, the poor guys!

Although in fairness I only ever saw one person up there, and in Hardcore Team Deathmatch its hard to pinpoint where they're shooting from until you realise he's up there. Then you pop a cap in his head :P
