Hey all, i am finding it hard to get back into training after a mental 6 or so weeks,

Firstly in october i lost my job  (then lost all intrest in training i was down in the dumps) a week later i got swine flu, pretty badly was locked up at home till 9th of nov, the following few days i was hanging bout feeling sorry for myself, then lucky on the 13th i got a call to start a new job on monday, feeling good i decided to start back at the gym on the 20th, But then due to floods my gym had being closed down,

I am a bit worried, just started to develop bad habits eating crap etc, no exercising make me feel like crap. And on top of all that i put on 5kg in all that time, Just feel bad bout it all

There is a new gym opening near me soon, i will prob join there which means no gym untill at least the 6th. Although i do think i will go for a run 2morrow. Anyone got tips to get remotivated?

Then man up and just do it! Stop whinging about motivation and get your arse in the gym. Now you're back at work it will give you the basis for a routine. Build one and stick to it. Losing that 5kg should be motivation enough to start with.

Read the stickys to clean up your diet, work out smart goals for your training, put a plan in place to achieve your goals and stick to it. Be prepared to be patient but dedicated and consistent.

Goals should be smart - specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. So set some and make working towards achieving them part of your routine!

my advice would be to get off the net and go for a run NOW, not tomorrow .. once you have done it you will feel a lot better
