With the world we live in today, many of us are obsessed with self-criticism, fuelled by a society which actively tells us we are not who we should be, and we should be more beautiful, thinner, more commercialised etc.

So this is a thread for positivity about yourself. Things that you like about yourself. Things that make you unique. I'll go first.

• I like my sense of humour; I can laugh at almost anything, which makes the harder times less hard.

• I like the way I'm in touch with the world, current affairs, different countries and cultures etc.

• I like my little bodily imperfections, scar here, freckle there.

• I like the way I can express myself well through English, I think it could be very frustrating if I couldn't.

• I like my little rules: e.g. if I clip one leg while walking, I HAVE to clip the other.

• I like my passion for sports, makes the world a lot less boring place.

• I like my eyes, and my smile.

I like my odd combination of hobbies and tastes.

That I'm touch with the world and what's going on around it (It's shocks me how little some people know anything about this country.)

I have quite a bizzare and dark sense of humour though I love my good-taste humour as well (like you'd see in the old films, old-skool spoof movies and series like Police Squad! and SledgeHammer ) I hate Family Guy and people who use Monty Python quotes in every sentence.

I'm pretty non-chalant about everything, don't see the point in freaking out on little things and if you're receiving a punch from me then you deserved it ya little shìt, it takes a lot of work to piss me off.

I like how a lot of people I meet see me as a "rare" reliable and trustworthy person. *pats self on back*

EDIT: Oh and my cock, which is 3 years long!

Prefer the Villa fans to be honest, although that could just be because we (United) always beat them! Brum fans seem to have a bit of a chip on their shoulders; some of them anyway.

I thought people are too self obsessed what with the social networking and racking up loads of online friends and equating it with popularity and self worth. Anyway, ummm.. hmm.
-I like that I tend to not get stressed out, ever, about anything. I'm always very level-headed. I never freak out about anything, nothing scares me that scares most other girls or people in general (spiders, snakes, bugs, whatever, grand with me!).

-I like that I'm accepting of pretty much everyone (except brummytom!). I never, ever stay angry or hold grudges, I'm the kind of person you can mess with as much as you please and I'll still always be there for you no matter what you've done to me. I will 100% be the one to come crawling back. Which, really, is a bad thing to most others.. but the past is the past and I like to be there for people.

-..I like that I recognize the past is the past, that it's not going to change, and I know to just get up and move on; my past doesn't have any negative effects on me anymore that I haven't managed to work through by now. Also don't hold ANY material belongings dear, I've no sense of sentimentality when it comes to things other than photos (which are all online anyway.)

-I like that I'm not a girly-girl and that I play videogames and watch horror movies and get dirty and don't make those horrible girly screechy sounds or enjoy any sort of drama. But I also like the fact that I have long hair and a curvy body and large eyes and all the other things that make me feminine.

I like a lot of things about myself, tbh. I'm pretty confident in exactly what I am, at the same time I know all my faults and work through them too.
