In the last couple of days I've seen about a dozen scumbags/knackers/chavs call them what you may, wearing this type of hat. I always thought these hats were for hippyish type people? How on EARTH did they start wearing these? First converse, now this!?! Imaging sending them back to wherever they're from 10 years ago in converse and this hat, they'd be beaten to death!

Here's the link. No images in AH

They've been coming back for a while, can't say I've seen scum wearing them. They must be only now getting cheap, either that or JJB Sports is stocking them.

Nooooo, I have one of them, not those colours or the bobble on top but the same thing otherwise, I tuck the strings into my jacket though. Whenever it's windy and they're not tucked in they hit my head and I keep thinking a bird has shat on me.

Google and have a look, he looks like a tool.

Your man Dappy has been on Never Mind the Buzzcocks a few times and is surprisingly pretty funny. Albeit in a 'let's everyone laugh at the slightly retarded ego maniac' way... :p

Thats' old hat. Originally from South America, worn to indicate how well travelled you are. They've since went mainstream and are more accessable to ordinary joes for a fiver.
I resisted wearing them myself, however I was handed a brand new one for free on Monday and it has been serving its purpose well in this chilly season. There is a downside in that they block your peripheral vision. I believe I won't be investing in a better quality one for the future because of this as I believe it to be a danger aspect.

Yeah, definitely blame the twat from N Dopes. If he started wearing nappies the scummers would wear them.

What we need to do is get public nudity cool. Scumbags will follow the "herd" so to speak and freeze to death in the Irish winter. Darwin's Law works. Bye Bye Scumnbag. The end.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I first start wearing one of these back in 2000 after seeing one on the fella in the film 'finding forrester'. Only wore them when it was baltic out. But then they became popular so i haven't wore one in years.

Just to add on here, has anybody else noticed this weird chack handbag that eveyone has?

It's like multicoloured bricks, shiny plastic, and it comes in every style of bag and purse imagineable. Please say I'm not the only one who's noticed these.

Like this pattern sort of but shiney and really cheap and nasty

So do ordinary people who are not scumbags. My brother has one of them and he's not a scumbag. In fact I'd say with almost 95% certainty that the gross income of my household is far greater than the gross income of your household, therefore statistically, you are more likely to be a scumbag than my brother who owns one of those hats.

What, like the way American tourists who come over and pull on an Aran sweater makes them immediately look like a local?

How am I an asshole? The gross income of the household I live in is higher than 95% of the rest of the country and since there is a correlation between people who would usually be classed as scumbags and lower income, it's statistically more probable that the one criticising people like my brother for wearing a hat like that, is in fact the scumbag. I'm not saying it is correct, I'm saying that theres a good chance it is correct.

It's simple probability.
there's also a correlation between people who would usually be classed as scumbags and Peruvian hats. point fail.
