Is this an all day seminar?.

That price seem's incredibly good value, people would be mad to pass that one up.

Anyone driving from Dublin? I'd love to attend but I've no way of getting down. I'll gladly pay half the petrol money and murder 50% of the hitchhikers.

I would love to attend this seminar. Is it more of a hands on day, where you perform lifting or is it educational? Only reason is I a have broken right wrist and two fractured ribs:mad:

I'll have to check my roster, but although I'm well catered for in work I wouldn't mind making the trip if I thought anything learned could be translated to my Judo.

    I'll be in touch.

if you cant make this which i recomend you do as James is a qualified trainer and is very interesting to talk to about training.

Sports Expo Ireland will have workshops, displays and seminars on all types of training fron Kettle bells, weightlifting and power lifting to plyometrics, caveman and technique training. We also hope to have a similar lecture at the sports expo with Strongmen but it wont be as long or as in depth as this one just more varied.

Worth making a note that James has done stuff like this for the IRFU coacing staff and trainers from across the country i would be surprised if you didnt learn alot!

Tullamore is very handy on the train from Dublin, about an hour from Heuston. Book it online and its fairly cheap. You'd get from the train station to the gym in a taxi for probably less than a fiver each way.

There are still some spots available. The seminar starts at 9.30 am. After registration we will start the seminar with a dvd demonstration of the strongman exercises and clips of james in action, and technical mistakes made and how to correct them followed by a quick q and a. Then we will cover the strongman lifts and their modified versions. Then we will hit the gym and program design will be covered and how to fit the strongman events into your training for your sport or gym needs. If there is anything you want covered just ask James on the day and he will accommodate. Looking forward to seeing you all Kieran. There will be breaks throughout the day.
