How to get rid of man bossom fat.

Hi, when I was younger I was a bit overweight as a young teen and am quite slim now. Most of the body fat burned off as I grew up but I still have some fat around my chest. I started rowing as a teen so I built muscle around my upper body so it is not like I have saggy man bosoms but instead they are sort of pecks only with some fat as well as muscle and they make my chest stick out naturally. I would like to have a straight chest but my posture makes my chest stick out naturally so nothing I can do about that. Would like to try and get rid of some of the fat though that is stored around my chest and obviously weights can only firm up the muscles but not get rid of this fat. Any tips on how I might go about this? Should I just start running and wrap cling film around my upper chest or something?
    Thanks

Hi, you should reduce your overall body fat but this is not area specific so you will see overall weight loss. Yes a sensible aerobic/calorie controlled diet will produce this. You may also have a condition called gynecomastia feel your nipple and if you feel a kind of gristle/tissue there as opposed to fat then you may have this condition. Consult your GP for definitive diagnosis. If you have this condition then weight loss will only reduce the fat but surgey (purely elective) may be required to get a flat chest. Hope this helps.

Also beer is a major cause of this so cut this out if you can.:)

As a big fcuker( 38 inch waist )myself, the best method is to reduce body fat percentage
to a level below 20%. It won't be quick or easy, but it should work over time.

From the sounds of your post though, you seem quite fit.
I would go to a doctor to rule out gynecomastia before other measures.

Personally i'd drop some bodyfat, before worrying about having what is, in reality, quite a rare condition.

I had quite a big rack, which, was out of proportion with my body. they are all but gone, after a period of diet and exerise.

Train hard, eat right and they will go, once they are gone, it will be quite easy to maintain

If you are a woman, I hate you.

If you are a man, thank you for getting rid of the man boobs, they can be quite disturbing...

How long did it take you to get rid of them? Was it weights and cardio along with an improved diet?

You can't target specific areas. You just have to lose fat all over your body. Simple.

Yeah, i trained with a full body weights program and interval training a minimum of 3 times perweek.

My diet was spot on also, it doesn't take long

Ok want to try and achieve this by next summer so gonna get busy. My diet is really weird at the moment and because I have a very busy lifestyle and work late nights, I often just eat one meal for the whole day. Its weird I don't get hungry until really late and I fill up easily. Probably not the most healthy way to be and I have lost weight over the past 2 months which I am happy with becasue I had a bit of belly fat that I wanted to get rid of. Anyway I try to eat as healty as I can when I do eat. Can you elaborate a bit more on your diet ragg?

    Ok,

the diet is simple enough to follow. Its basically the same diet thats advocated on here. Except like a few others, i cycle carbs - between training and non training

    Eggs for breakfast

    Snack on almonds mid morning

    Lean meat salad lunch

Sandwich before training ( if im not training i have a salad)

Dinner is lean meat with some carbs (if i've been training, if not i again ditch most of the carbs.)

there is a book linked in my sig, that i bought & used - i think quite a few others on here have used it too. So if you need the details behind everything, as a beginners guide, its 10 quid very well spent imo
